@@detnemt9571 I will say Working with Quincy was a blessing for MJ and his music, but you can't say his music was worse and point it all at the fact that he wasn't working with Q. On the one hand, after BAD MJ started to do 2LP albums instead of LP albums, meaning that there were double the songs on a regular LP. This meant that MJ had to do more work in the same amount of time. This would have resulted in less time being spent on one song to make it perfect. And on the other hand MJ was beginning to develop conditions like insomnia, Lupus and also he was trying to have a family. Music wasn't all about MJs life in the Dangerous/History eras.

Jones brought that guy in to add on to MJ's already composition. Now, I'm not sure if MJ wanted it or not. But him not crediting the guy speaks volumes. Also, I heard Jackson didn't like crediting musicians who only worked on less than 10% of a song. Quincy was mad that MJ didn't give him a full credit (just a half of credit in the notes) but MJ probably didn't want it in the first place. I also went and watched the live performances from 79 and 81 that don't include the violins or instruments trying to imitate them (I didn't even realize the live versions didn't have the violins until I saw the interview clip, that's how insignificant they are. They're nice, but not needed, like MJ said). The best addition to this song was the bridge the Greg Philligannes added. Wish we had a complete studio version without the violins just to hear Michael's vision of the song and to better judge the impact the violins in the intro had on the song.

I can’t imagine him making those sounds in front of his little sister, but then that family did a lot of sexual things in one another’s presence on and off stage that most people would find inappropriate and creepy to do in close proximity to a family member.

See, I hear Randy's laughing, but that voice saying "we can slow it down" sounds like Jermaine. Was he there? (I know they all sound similar, and that Michael and Jermaine sound eerily alike, but I never noticed that Randy had those same tones.)
