Incredible all the small details that make it so interesting to listen to. Do you know what he's doing at 0:56 between the base notes A and G# that gives the two high strings an almost harmonic like sound? Is he just muting them up by the capo? I can't get my guitar to sound like that! lol edit: I got my guitar to sound like that, that is what he's doing. Super cool! I've never seen that used by any of my other favorite cover artists

I'm glad more and more people are starting to realize this. I've listened to countless accomplished artists, but Kent has a completely different approach to the FEEL of the song. I've got to admit that I love these instrumental covers. Naudo, Tommy Emmanuel, PedroJavier, John Jorgson, Alexander Misko and Kent Nishimura have brought alive these classic hits to a generation lost in EDM, Pop culture, DJ and electronic music. Some fingerstylists arrange songs on their own version and they do it because they want to be original and add their own style when in reality, they do it because it is the only way they can arrange the song and it's easier that way. It can be really difficult to make an arrangement that is very faithful to the original... And this guy not only faithfully arranged it but also captured the other musical elements of the song, converting non-guitar-sounds from the original into ways that can be possible with only just a guitar.
