Beautifull reaction!! I agree the best thing about MJ is he never stopped trying to make the world better. No matter if everyone was against him he still continued to put out songs like this.

Chills. The opening bit sends ne chills. Reminds me of being 11 when this came out. Recently played this song to a colleauge at work and he is a big guy, and even he said when mj died he cried. I think most the world did, whether they choose to admit it or not, is another matter

Made me cry. All he tried to do to unite the world. And the treatment he got. For trying to unite the human race and trying to heal the world. Is unbelievable. How they hurt this precious man. He's in God's arms now. They could never hurt this angel again. Rest in peace. Mr. Micheal jackson

Very emotional reaction. I remember back in the 90's when hearing this song i was ,,omg he is such a hippie...", lol. Yes, we can do our part, little by little, helping around. Thank you for chosing this song.

@@InfectiousGroovePodcast it's obvious that your reactions are genuine. This is my number one reaction channel and I'm not saying it to fluff your feathers. I'm glad you spoke about his quality as vocalist. 'Cause I'm honest, since I've really discovered him, as vocalist he is absolutely on his Olympus, he is like an actor that can play any character.

@@duncanidaho8900 very kind words, thank you! And yeah, I'm glad you've dove into what an incredible vocalist MJ was. One of the reactions we have coming soon is a reaction to an a capella vocal track.

@@InfectiousGroovePodcast that sounds amazing! Right now I was listening Big Boy, a 9 yr old MJ. What vocal control he already had, that beautiful vibrato ( I think it's called). Cannot wait your new reaction!

Oh I feel the same way. The last 30 sec but it also comes and goes during the video. The frightened children who are looking out in the dark, through a window reflecting a burning cross and hooded men with Michael singing "make a better place for you and for me", to the build-up to the soldiers throwing their guns... It's alot like Man in the Mirror, but more coherent I'd say. There's a storyline to follow and also to grow from while doing so. Showing off the extremes of life, of society, often happening at the same time, in the same scene. Thus we get a chocie - which do we want? But the film also actively work with creating curiosity about what would happen if we chose togetherness, happiness, life...like in the beginning in the childrens ward, when all of a sudden the heart-twisting status quo of the scene is broken by giggling children outside fervently starting to tapp the hospital window, trying to cheer up the sick baby inside, and one goes "Wait, what happens now - something is disrupting me from observing the missery..! Who's doing that and what do they want?" As with the tension of the war zones where the soldiers first watching with dead eyes the children playing, then their eyes start to follow them more and more. The children doing stuff like running as fast as they can (which from the child's perspective, all of us with some memory know, is the fastest anyone's ever run and basically flying) towards the soldiers, which means not fleeing. Laughing of joy, which means not being afraid. Making the viewer follow that ball with their eyes, just as the soldiers start doing. This followed by the build-up during the bridge, when the children start running in masses and a shift in the soldiers happen, their eyes coming to life. The status quo of the palpable tenseness of the scene, created by military, war machines and men with high capacity of violence, gets completely smashed with the children jumping up on the tanks. This being parallelled with the status quo, of the tention WITHIN the civilian men watching the army, getting broken as they have to lean forwards to see where all the laughing children are going. Again creating curiosity of what could happen if we actually did something better, this time shown through the people in the scene. And then, the soldiers actually making the choice, throwing their guns. Chosing peace, happiness and togetherness, chosing to heal. Ending ofcourse with whole societies coming together to heal, lighting up our planet, showing us the beauty that we could create together, if given a little space from the violence without and within, by chosing to. I'm glad you reacted to this. It's the kind of MJ music film, where MJ doesn't take part by being everywhere to be seen. From beginning to end.

Sorry for writing long and then adding more, but the thing about Michael to me, is that it never gets too grandious nor too heavy handed, since it's all so genuine. MJ actually had the emotive capacity to feel this much, to care this much. To believe this much in us. And given the magnitude of the horrors we've created, this is how big the opposite should be, it's easy to be blunt about the horrors but much harder to be as blunt about the love. So what could have been just simplistic platitude over platitude - and would have been from most other artists trying to pull this off - instead becomes the purest of understandings, becomes truth. You know how the little prince seeing everything through their heart, can't really be said to be wrong? Like, chosing to heal is the scarriest, most complicated, self-threatening, happiest, simplest and most natural thing in the world; as an individual and as a collective. Yeah, that's my 42 cents.

@@elsaanderson1176 1) please don't ever apologizing for adding too much to a comment! Lauren really likes Michael Jackson but Russ is flat about passionat about him. So between the two fo us, we love to read anything and everything about him. We agree with everything you said. Our only bummer at this point is that it's weird to us that MJ fans don't share our positive Michael Jackson content around to social media. It's not about a view count to us, it's about focusing on positive things with regard to MJ instead of all of the negative.
