This painter is truly "BAD" ..... Im not talking bad as in bad but as in Michael's version of "BAD"... You have him from his little home on 2300 jackson street, to him in his music videos, him as the scarecrow in "The Wiz", the women he loved, the things he did, & then the Prince symbol was just the icing on the cake for me since I'm a huge Prince fan.

KADIR NELSON has been drawing Michael JACKSON since he was 8yrs old since the THRILLER VIDEO,mike asked KADIR to draw this painting before he passed away,THere are 50 images of nike up til 2009 plus all the women that were close to mike,The album is called "MICHAEL" The artwork is called "THE KING OF POP" Kadir placed mikes hand over mikes heart because mikes puts his heart&soul into everything he does,I met MJ at JFK airport in 1997 He was traveling 1st class on AMERICAN AIRLINES 4 DHISTORYTOUR

I like the paiting very much, and i think he gets MJ´s dance poses very well. Thats why i find it strange that in the BILIE JEAN sceane when he is on his toes is really NOT the way he did that move, his feet were not separated like that, they were almost together. Dont understand why he did it that way!

@JoyceInCarolina The painting does showcase MJ in the later years. This video doesn't actually show the whole painting. But if you look at the cd insert its shows more of the painting but for some reason it also doesn't show the whole painting.

Kadir, you are very talented and I love some parts of the painting (not all). I like the detail you put into it. If Im honest, I dont like this painting as an 'album' cover. I mean its just all over the place. yes, Dangerous was all over the place too, but that already come out. thats why I feel the new cover should have been 'original.' :)

I love the detail but this only shows a small portion of MJs life. Where is Michael in the ninties and beyond? I think it is beautiful and a lot of work went into it. I think though that the artist was probably told by MJs family to focus only on the Jackson 5 era. They want to always be remembered when people talk about MJ. No one has forgotten the Jackson 5. MJ went on without the Jackson Five to become the King of Pop....so where is the more mature Michael Jackson?
