Sometimes, over a period of years, a musicians skills might degrade. Singers for sure, guitarists and bassists, and drummers. This is certainly NOT the case with Jonathan Moffett. We have the miracle of being able to see Moffett playing at his peak with Michael Jackson live in performance, and now, decades later, that same skill and sensitivity has not lost anything in its power, technique or finesse. And you can still set your watch with the incredible sense of timing. Thanks you for this video. It was as emotional for the viewers as it was for the performer.

OMG the man the myth the legend! I saw you back in 1995 in Poland, when you guys played at the old airport. I was a small boy back then and the fire brigade was nice and kind enough to take me on top of the truck that was close to the stage. I distinctly remember that you often looked in our direction. Of course, I know now that it you were looking and concentrating on your drum set - but I like the version where you looked at those firemen haul a small child up on top of the fire truck better. :D Thank you for your music!

I've seen the drums done in so many covers but it just hit's different with Sugarfoot. His drumming just has 'soul' like you can feel him giving life to the tracks in a way no one else can replicate. He plays from the heart. Even a machine playing all the right notes wouldn't be able to replicate that heartfelt playing. He is one of a kind and added to much to already incredible vocals. They were the golden match made in heaven. Michael + Sugarfoot.
