If a mother covers up for the father when it comes to sexual abuse, then that mother is as guilty as the man who commits the acts. I can't understand how a woman who was supposedly very religious would allow such abhorent acts against her children. This is so terrible if in fact this happened.

I agree But here's the thing Religous is just like the pharisees in the bible They had nothing to do with gods heart or nature Only looking good n quoting scripture Gods word says test the spirit Meaning Don't call something simply bc of titles or how it dresses Check the spirit n the heart to see what it is.. Religious doesn't equal God like Even satanists are religous...

I know right? My exact thoughts. I read long ago that it's because her daughters actions speak of how the mother is. Not that it's true though. That's the mother's way of thinking because she's ashamed that it's being talked about publicly and humiliating. So sad for all

The mother repeatedly says that LaToya is/was brainwashed. Yes...by her. And it is projection too...Katherine seems brainwashed herself. What is wrong with this woman? Did she really have polio? And yet produce eleven children. Why did she hook up with this crazy rage-aholic... this so called husband? And why so many kids? And no other family members to intervene? Or bear witness. No grandparents, uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins, neighbours, teachers, schoolfriends, church members, house doctors, or other witnesses: drivers, house cleaners, nannies. Jehova’s witnesses? I do not believe that. No, no. Sick Joe also hang out in the Playboy whorehouse. Took his children there at a very young age. One of the older brothers confessed. Was this woman well paid for creating a black show bizz group? Was that the deal? These parents became multi-millionaires themselves. ....By doing what? .............By presenting children to a cruel circus. Do not forget that. They sold their children into highly sexualized 'entertainment'. Where do these monsters come from? Also: why is it allowed in the US to throw your children to the lions? In Michaels' book there already were descriptions of wild and sadistic violence. And the mother allowing the father to beat the crap out of them. And molest them. Threaten them. Is there no child protection in the USA? Was/is this family protected by invisible powerful groups? To create show zombies. How was it possible for this well-known family with so many red flags, allegations and visibly traumatized children (self-harming, extreme plastic surgery, anorexia and many other addictions, written testimonies)....that no action was taken to prosecute the parents. That household seemed like a concentration camp. Apparently LaToya suffers from Stockholm Syndrome. And PTSD. What a cruel country.

You don't know she knows that, and if she knows you don't know she finds that normal either. You don't know any single thing about her daily live, her possible strugles, fears (for her husband, the system, press and public) and thoughts ! Maybe, if something happened she found out later or had a terrible fight to protect herself and her children. You don't know a thing before you asked her personally and walked her maybe very complex and fearfull life in her shoes. It's very wrong how people judge without much information. Even for close family and a proffessional psychologist or judge this kind of cases are very difficult to find out the truth. And cases are so complex that you can't speak of guilt of an mother, a lady who maybe was in an daily fight to protect her 8 children. How to run away and hide with 8 famous children and maybe a dangerous (i hope not realy dangerous, but he hit them, so not the sweetest) husband ?

Coming from an abusive background myself, its not unusual to see the rest of the siblings simply denying or downplaying a lot of the things that happened in childhood because they either don’t remember/don’t want to remember/are in denial or are too afraid to say anything in the present because it would just ruin the family dynamic. And parents rarely EVER admit their mistakes/believe they’re wrong so there’s that.

What Latoya went through is exactly what I see in my family history. My great grandfather was a monster who sexually abused his children and his wife my great grandmother who was very religious didn't do anything about it. My uncles and aunts ended up with lots of health problems and mental illness due to the abuse. Two of my great aunts never married. I heard terrible things and I believe that my mother went through it as well. To this day everyone is tight lipped about it and many are still living in deep denial because it's too painful and shameful to talk about. This is a generational problem. I believe that Latoya is definitely telling the truth.

Laken, the only thing going on in that family was that they were being disciplined more than the average individual. How the hell do you think they became so successful. I'm sorry that happened to you and your siblings. I think we share a similar experience. In my late 30's, I outed my adopted, acoholic father regarding his sexual abuse to his natural daughter (my adopted sister), when we were teens. When my adopted mother heard me state this, she turned to my sister and asked if it was true. My sister said no. But she had been the one to come and tell me about it when she was 15 and I was 17. In this instance, he had been drinking as usual, and had asked her to bring me to him. When she told me this, I was grossed out and furious and wouldn't let her go back to my parent's bedroom. She was scared of my angry reaction and scared not to go back to him. I remember wanting to kill him. I think my adopted mom was getting something at the store when this went down. I was in denial about our sick family for years. When I outed the lowlife in our late 30's and my sister denied the abuse, I stayed out of contact with them for over 20 years. Finally accomplished some things. I barely thought about the parents, but did miss my adopted sister. I reached out to her after both of them had died. Felt nothing about their passing. My adopted mom was, as my former therapist described her, sadistic and cruel. She had a pleasant social demeanor, but I think people in our church and some teachers saw through it. They were markedly kind to me. Growing up, I avoided my adopted dad. Even early on, I knew that he was "off". I think he was a little afraid of me. It was terrible having so much anger and such a temper as a teen and young adult, but now I am glad it was there, and thank God for it.

Also, "what has Latoya done?" - She didn't want to do entertainment she wanted to be a lawyer, her idiot dad refused to give her 'permission' and made her follow her siblings instead. I remember rolling my eyes every time La Toya revealed new ‘secrets’ back in the 90’s. I had no idea what was going on behind closed doors. Jack Gordon definitely saw her as an easy meal ticket and was the real abuser. Nowadays I feel so differently about La Toya. I believe she really wanted to break free from the family back in those days but on her terms. I feel this need for freedom was fully exploited by Gordon and he engineered everything he could to ruin La Toya and line his own pockets. I know La Toya is still hated by Jackson fans even today but I personally hope she has a little more peace nowadays

Definitely. He exploited and played on her need to become independent and break free of her parents. But she crossed the line, she took it too far. She might have been abused by Gordon, perhaps even threatened, but she must be held accountable for her actions because she played along. Women have always played victim inorder to belittle their own involvement and participation when something goes wrong. They do this to avoid being held accountable for their actions. Everything she said in the past was very deliberate, at least to some degree. It's not all Jack Gordon. She wasn't entirely a puppet. Afterall, she has since withdrawn all her allegations against MJ, but she never did the same for Joe. She remained vague about that part, dancing around it, neither confirming nor denying it. As you can see in the final part of this video, the interview that concluded it

I am going to try and explain something about this child abuse situation if I can. Let's take an African child for example. Now just for example let's say that when that child was pushed from his mother's womb, he or she, was immediately wrapped in a blanket and placed on an airplane and flown over to Japan... Twenty some odd years from that place of birth and time, if you went over to Japan to talk with that child, he or she would be speaking Japanese and surviving as a Japanese person and if you take the child and bring him or her back to America, that child will still have Japanese ways in him or her. When a child is born in a dysfunctional family, by the time that child breaks free from the family, he or she carries a certain amount of dysfunctional traits with them , it will take a certain amount of time and reprograming (if that's at all possible) to change the child's thought pattern but this dysfunctional experience that the child went through will inevitably leave some mental damage because you can never remove the memories, that stays with them forever. Until you have lived through child abuse or an extremely dysfunctional family, you can never know what I am talking about, all you can do is give your opinion about something you know nothing about. I am 70 years old now,and the atrocious environment I grew up in has always been right there with me. I was diagnosed with PTSD in my early twenties. Latoya's actions to me were not a betrayal of her family, it was a defensive tool she used to try and navigate through a world that has a hard time believing her story, a story she needed to tell someone to try and gain some from of sanity to her existence on this earth.
@for-house-stark

@@chipperrobinson3297 I'd say latoyas actions were more rebellious than defensive. Sure, the jacksons were dysfunctional and abused. But she tried to go the other way and use that dysfunction to promote herself which was disastrous for her and her family. She loved the attention, as her sister Janet was observant enough to pick up on, even Michael knew what she was doing. She could've left the spotlight for her siblings and live quietly like rebbie did, but she courted it.

Like I said, you could never understand this life unless you lived through it. No two siblings think alike they all have different ways of handling this type of situation. You are going to say what you want to say but she is a survivor, and she survived by any means necessary. She is still here on this earth and the decision she made to survive is between her and her creator. I have siblings who are no longer alive on this earth as a direct result of coming up in the family and my younger brother has been missing for over 20 years now. He has no knowledge that our mother is dead or the other deaths in the family. If you were never abused or were never raised up in a dysfunctional family, when you go to sleep at night, be sure to get on your knees and say, Thank You Jesus!!!

The kids butchered their faces. Michael loved his race but had family trauma and confusion. If he kept his children away from his father that meant he didn't trust him to not harm them. Katherine was wicked to have the children be abused but maybe she had nowhere to go. Katharine was disgraceful for not stopping it but judging her daughter for posing nude. So it was okay to be abused in the home and do nothing about it but that was wrong. What a joke. The kids couldn't call him dad, he seemed to hate them so it's not a stretch to think he'd do all those things. Who knows what he did to sell them to the industry

This is horrific and I cannot imagine the torment this has visited on all their lives. Hoping that LaToya is enjoying peace in her senior years. 🙏🏽😍🙏🏽😍

I believe her about Joe. And I believe that Katherine was an enabler. Even to some of Michael's antics. While I do believe Michael Jackson was innocent, she could've told Michael that the way he'd spend time with kids looked weird and was just ASKING for negative PR. She even encouraged her kids to fw plastic surgery if it made em happy. Edit: She and Michael looked so much alike before and after the plastic surgery.

Lets talk about the physical and emotional abuse from Osmonds father but white media doesn't want to report on that.

I'm pretty sure Joe sexually abused Michael as well. It's the only way to have power over him so they he doesn't leave, and it explains so much of Michaels behavior. I also believe Janet wasn't abused. She's so different from the rest of others. She's more "normal" in how she carries herself and the way she talks. She was born much later so she didn't have a chance to witness the sexual abuse.

I don't think any child can ever lie about sexual abuse. I know some people become spiteful to their parents for being strict. But it's possible that she was the only one that the father thought he could abuse, probably because she was too naughty to be believed, but I doubt she lied about this. She's not only putting her father to shame, but she is also losing her dignity for doing this. We often victimise those who speak out!!!

I remember Latoya stating she lied a lot under the threats of her abusive husband and I personally never heard of the sexual abuse until now and I think it would be weird to lie about that. It wouldn’t be totally out of line to assume something like sexual abuse happened considering the extensive physical abuse but it does make sense considering her intense fear of intimacy she revealed on her show. But wow how shocking to learn this. I deeply empathize with her and hope she’s finds healing in her life. I also remember that one of Tito’s sons was sexually abused by a family member and it hurt me to learn that too. I’m hoping the pain of these trauma cycles will end for them and everywhere. No one deserves that and help is always out there.
