Yes! I feel the same way! I sometimes listen to Lisa Marie Presley's love songs for Michael, and of course Michael and all of the Jackson's music, including J5 and Janet's music and even the newer Generation as Michael Jackson's daughter Paris is also becoming an accomplished musician. There are so many fan videos of Lisa Marie and Michael Jackson too. So sweet.

There's a fun story behind the recording of this song, Michael and Quincy said they were trying to get the perfect vocals and Quincy said he wanted kind of a more sensual kind of feeling and asked Michael and he was so shy that he asked them to close the courtain between the studio and the control room so that way they wouldn't see him and he wouldn't feel embarrassed hahah aww can you imagine that?? 😂😂❤ Quincy said he "tore it up" ❤

I also love Michael's octave vocal slide when he sings, "I need you by my side." (4:27) This is a very R&B/Motown-like feel which I don't hear a lot in Michael's material at this point in his career. The lack of inhibition you exhibit here with your dancing and sensuality is positively intoxicating. Really shows the power of Michael's music.

This song is pure seduction. I'm surprised no one has told this story in the comments yet, so I will. When he was recording this song for Thriller, Quincy Jones (his producer) said Michael wasn't quite nailing it because he seemed shy about being so sensual. So after a few attempts, Quincy told him to go in there and "beg." Michael asked to have all the lights off and then he went into the studio and sang THIS. That's why I especially love when you say "I can't imagine a woman saying no to him." Neither can any of us women! 😂

It's super sensual and just a beautiful song! His vocals are sweeping. There's a different version with even more ad-libs that you would LOVE. Once you get through his discography, it will be so amazing to see you react to his live performances, alternate versions/demos, multitracks, etc. And don't forget the Jackson 5 and Jackson's! He's such a genius and there is SO much to him. He can take over your life haha. Btw You are BY FAR my favorite reactor to Michael. You are one of the only people I've seen do reactions to him that truly seem to GET it. I love how present you are, how you notice every little thing and emphasize it, and draw attention to it.
