Thank you Teez!!!! This is one of my favorite slow jams; you are SO right; it’s his ad-libs on this song; priceless ! I was a teen when this came out; while everyone was losing their minds over the song “Thriller”, THIS is the song from the album that did it for me. The sexy smooth jazz R&B is haunting. I’ll say it for you Teez; this song is so much better; classy 💎 He was surrounded by morally troubling controversy, yet I still found myself crying when he died. I separate the art from the person in his case. So glad I took a peek before I went to bed 😀

Yes I agree ! So hard to distinguish the undeniable Talent that MJ was from the harsh troubling media reports that plagued his life ! Although his death was a huge shock I felt it was almost a relief for him in some way and that he finally found some Peace ! ❤
@Ray1969.3 жыл бұрын
Agree 1000% Jacqueline! I always separate the artist from the individual. Whatever your thoughts on MJ, you cannot deny he was one of the greatest entertainers of the 20th century. I also love “Remember The Time”, and “The Way You Make Me Feel.” Great pick Jacqueline!!!
@Ray1969.3 жыл бұрын
When I was growing up my mom and I would play this game every Sunday where she would play a song and then I would play one (her record collection was insane) and we would try and top each other as to which songs we liked better. I feel like, with all of Jacqueline’s great picks, that I’m back playing that game again. Thanks so much for that Jacqueline!!!

@@Ray1969. What a wonderful times those must have been, Ray! The sharing of music between the generations connects family like few other things, the parent and child (no matter how old, you are always parent and child) truly bond. My Father was a huge musical influence for me; he and I listened to and talked about music all the time. In my comment to this very song I mentioned “haunting”; that was one of the words he used when I played this song for him many years ago. He passed in 2014 65 years young and there are still songs that hurt too much. My son is 29 now, but from the time he could talk, I would randomly yell out “MUSIC LESSON!” and say this artist is so and so, they are known for etc, especially in the car. It has worked; he listens to all kinds of genres and decades, and he shares music with me. We do it occasionally by text 😂 as well. Ray, I’m honored that you feel we are playing the song game, and I feel the same way; I always love your selections and sometimes when I first see the title of a reaction song that I really love, I wonder did Ray pick this one? It almost always is 😊. You were blessed with a loving, interesting Mother and friend. ❤️. Waiting for your next selection 🤗

What black person never heard these songs? It was on Thriller for God sakes. And yes his very best adult vocals are on Off the Wall, Triumph and Thriller albums. If you perform vocal analysis on his demos during 1978 to 82, you'll see how perfect his vocals are. He was a beast...

Old school heads have always known that Michael has an amazing, soulful voice. There are a lot of older R&B singers who were heavily influenced by him. I have heard some negative stuff about his voice on recent YT especially from gen z and Millennials for some reason.

Please do more King MJ. Reason there's not many comments is it's a fan page and not the MJ's actual vevo/ account. If you go to his account he is getting thousands of views daily on his songs and surpassing even some of today's artists. Billie Jean surpassed a billion views, TDCAU and Thriller not far behind, along with others. Also his vocals were never underrated, people always acknowledged he was the entire package.. a real artist. Singer, dancer, entertainer, song writer, pioneer, innovativor, composer, would beatbox the sounds of the song in his mind then out aloud and sound it out before adding music (watch MJs beatbox video), played a part on the production of his videos and tours even the lighting, was a perfectionist.. a musical and creative genius. He started singing and dancing at age 5, a child prodigy. He was God's gift and the greatest ever. Please react to Jackson 5 debut on Ed Sullivan Show 1969- who's loving you. 11yr old MJ's vocal's are incredible. RIP KING 1958-FOREVER 👑❤

Don’t forget, MJ was a legit star since he was a kid, around 8. He went to Q and wanted to explore different sounds and get away from the kiddie pop he was famous for with the Jackson 5…He was tapping into his destiny and had s#%t to prove. It’s like the man snapped and had an out-of-body experience in that recording booth.😂😂😂
