I think MJ is deeply misunderstood when it comes to this. He had an abusive father and suffered a traumatic childhood. Later in life, he tried reconnecting with the childhood he never had. Acting like a child and befriending other children. It was a little weird for sure, but I don't believe he would ever take advantage of anyone else. That man wouldn't hurt a fly.
