You do understand it's all scripted right? Or do you believe tik tok too
@BuckyOhYeah7 ай бұрын
@@Paul-nr6ws how is this scripted? I'll give you a hint; it's not. Sure, the producers will know about anything that's going to appear on screen, but they don't know when, nor in what context it'll be used. There are no lines being fed... its not scripted.
@LaneMaxfield7 ай бұрын
@@BuckyOhYeah My understanding is it's not either/or. Often on these shows there are planned bits (if something uses a prop, like Mel's picnic's worth of baked goods, it's probably planned) but planned does not necessarily mean scripted - more like they know the bit is coming and they've rehearsed a few versions but they are ad-libbing the actual lines. Then there's Jimmy's intros and one-liners, which are 100% scripted. Finally, these people do work together constantly and study improv, so they know how to see an opportunity for a good joke and run with it, even if it wasn't planned. It's possible that, when planning the baked goods, somebody just cheekily said, "and of course we'll have a food fight later on," and nobody was sure whether it was a joke or something they would actually do until Jack Whitehall threw a muffin. It also might be genuine pure improv. Part of the skill with these kinds of live shows is being so organic and in the moment that the planned bits and the improvisation blend so seamlessly, people don't know which is which.
@BuckyOhYeah7 ай бұрын
@@LaneMaxfield so pretty much exactly what I said?

@MadcapShambleton well yes. In that, I said they know about the props, but don't know what they'll be used for, nor when... I didn't mention that the monologue is scripted, but I didn't think I needed to. So, in fact, yes, we are saying the same thing. Don't be obtuse.
