Michael Jerome Browne & Mary Flower: Wisecrack

This performance of Wisecrack, a Mary Flower composition, was taken at a house concert in Morin Heights, Quebec, on July 1, 2024. Mary Flower, based in Portland, Oregon, was a finalist for two National Fingerpicking Guitar championships and is a renowned recording artist, performer and music educator. Michael Jerome Brown, who lives in Montreal, is a three-time Canadian Folk Music award winner, won the Blues with a Feeling Award at the Maple Blues Awards and been nominated for 6 Junos. I only managed to get in the tail end of this final number in their concert; but it does give you a taste of their vivacious and impeccable interpretation.
