@@jimclawley7503 -He had just turned 22 when he won the silver in the 204 C0mmonwealths. Then he won gold in the 2015 World Championships, 2016 Olympics and 2017 Worlds. What's so suspicious about that development?

@@normanlinden5786 in 2 years time he reduced 1.4 seconds, running the first 200 and 300 m near wr pace - which is the exact opposite of mj - and without having kirani james pushing him, leaving him twice the distance he got left behind in this video. logical?

Notice how Johnson says "that world record is next for him" without needing to flex that it's his.

Every Day Sports It’s all about mental willpower. You got to force yourself to stick with it and to fight it out in order to get the good times. Also running with a straight back and relaxing your arms will help minimize the amount of energy you use. Source: I run a 53s 400m in high school

Every Day Sports I don't know what is good or not for a 12year old. But whatever it is, keep up the good work. Keep on doing what you like is most important.

My best tip is to open up your stride and really try to drop your shoulders and relax and run calm the whole race. When you run the whole race relaxed you will improve you time a lot. For me the change to run relaxed dropped my PB by half a second

Everyone’s missing the main point. Increase your natural sprint speed. Michael Johnson was always the fastest sprinter against his opponents. Once you increase your sprint speed, the rest will follow.

I have a question, will cross country help me run a faster 400? I have heard that it will but I have also heard that it will make me slower.
@PresbianTier
@PresbianTier 6 жыл бұрын
Kason Strate cross country would help with building up mental strength for the 400m and also speed endurance. But that's only about 35% of the race as you have to focus on acceleration, velocity, starts, etc.
