Yep. Those of us that saw it every gm is why it so damn silly for LeBron to even be mentioned in conversation. Nice to see younger generation starting to understand. He didn’t hit the floor ever before shot either. 😂. He was even better than these highlights and a global icon that couldn’t be explained today. Without social media. Great job being open minded young man. Beat of luck with your channel

MJ at the top spot is so far from #2 it's laughable. All these LeBron fans have to do is watch this highlight reel. But they refuse to cuz they're terrified of what they'll see. Problem with these young LeBron fans is they have really only watched highlights of 96-98 mid-range Mike. All they need to do is watch this or even the historic bulls mixtape and see this man fly, greatest layup package ever, hang time beyond anything ever seen, palm fakes, posterizing every big in the league, etc etc. I'm still waiting for a LeBron highlight reel where any of the plays actually have me lose my shit. Most of what we see here on Voyager has our jaws dropped to the ground. And he did it staying put, never getting on the phone to join up with other superstars. Let the GM handle trades, acquisitions etc and just played the game. LeBron has had the most All Star / all NBA teammates in NBA history and has lost six times in the finals. Choked in an entire series after joining up his first super team. Game 6 2013 versus the Spurs in the final minute, down 3-2 in the series, LeBron throws the ball away twice in a row followed by an air ball triple, and with the game clock off and San Antonio about to win the crown, Miami needed a three-pointer to send it into overtime and LeBron bricked that too. So not only does he have the worst meltdown in a finals series by a franchise player in 2011. But he's also officially had the worst collapse and choke job in the final minute of an elimination finals game. B2B turnovers followed by an air ball 3? And that was the greatest player in the league who did that. And finally, claiming that winning in 2016 made him the GOAT.... How does winning once in four tries make you the goat. Especially when your teammate averaged 28 PPG and hit the final three-point dagger in game 7. While you didn't even put up a field goal in the final 5 minutes. Oh no wait, LeBron did get to the line once, and went 1-2. Jordan has played in 51 playoff series and never ever had a bad series. Had a bad game sure. And the 89 ECSF game 2, the only put up 15 points and they lost. But throughout the six game series, he put up 40 four times, averaging 36/8.5/9.5 and 2.3 SPG dispatching the Knicks in 6. So yeah, Jordan has had a bad game in the playoffs, and then came back and dropped 40 and 46 and 39 and 40 lol. No one comes close to the king of GOATs

Dude that’s what we all thought in the 90s! I’m 37 and he was playing as I was starting my highschool basketball “career.” Dudes on the team would literally sit and watch MJ for hours and try to imitate him. We think he’s the goat because there’s no one before or since playing like him with the 100% complete package.

It’s MJ’s 1987-88 season and it’s not even close: MVP DPOY Scoring Title Steals Title Dunk Champion ASG MVP WS Leader 1.6 blocks/game - led all guards He’s still the only DPOY to average 30+ and he averaged 35ppg that season. He did all that in 1 season without another All Star on the roster.

He played 82 games and all of the playoffs and he was that exciting. Game after game after game, he never accepted defeat. They didn’t win them all but his hang time was beyond beautiful. Songs written about him and he deserved them. He is a champion and anyone who says otherwise is just a sore loser or too young to appreciate his love of the game. ❤❤

Your reaction is so awesome! Makes me smile ear to ear! That's how we all felt watching him back in the day. You know what really made him the GOAT though? He transcended basketball like somebody says during the video. People who didn't give a damn about basketball would stop and watch him because it was just poetry in motion. And sure there are other players who are household names, but nobody has captured the imagination of the masses with basketball the way that Mike did.

Early on, we realized that if you didn't record Bulls games on our VCRs, because his moves were so fast and unbelievable, that you would miss something. Every game, he did something more spectacular. He was definitely MUST SEE TV. Can't imagine LBJ playing in that NBA. They woulda had him crying in the corner. He wouldn't have been flopping. He would straight gotten knocked down. #THEGOAT

Michel Jordan and Walter Payton....... :)

If at all there was a player who could justify or even top the moniker 'His Airness', it is Michael Jordan. Jordan tops our list of players with the highest vertical leap of 48 inches. This to go along with a hangtime of 0.92 seconds
@johnjackson229
@johnjackson229 3 ай бұрын
MJ is the Goat becuase he put the mental together with a physical body that was PERFECTLY made to play basketball. People don't know that Michael had HUGE hands that helped him palm the ball and hit so many of those hang in the air shots. Kobe was interviewed about it if you look it up on KZbin. Kobe complained that he just didn't have the physical makeup that Jordan did and he would have to outwork him. Amazing that Kobe did out work him, that's no small feat. Michael was taller, bigger hands, a shade faster and quicker, a couple of inches on his vertical. Other people keep trying to tear down MJ as the GOAT so they can lift their fav Lebron up there. But MJ was made in a lab to be the goat and had no weaknesses.

The other thing which MJ had that I don't think we will ever see again is his amazing hands. The thing is, its not just that Jordan had big, strong hands...other players have had huge hands. But, like everything else, MJ took a natural gift that he had and used it to do totally unnatural looking things. Nobody handles the ball like MJ (not talking about "handles" as basketball term, but literally the way he could hold, shoot, move the ball, etc., with one hand). He rebounds a lot one-handed. Nobody shoots with one hand like Mike -- frequently when he is shooting one handed, somehow the ball comes out of his hand wity WAY too much velocity for a one-handed shot...how does he do that? Same with his one handed passes...more velocity than should be possible one-handed. Which is why to this day it still looks weird! Often his one-handed moves look almost fake. MJ had so many natural gifts and he was brilliant at turning natural gifts into almost supernatural attributes.

An older one you may like, whether you want to react to it or not is a video when Jordan and the 1984 US Olympic Team (no pros on the team at that time) played a series of exhibition games against NBA All Stars (including people like Magic and Bird) on that team and beat them every game. This was before Jordan ever played one pro game and he and the Olympic Team (coached by Bobby Knight) beat NBA All Stars every exhibition game they played and these are recorded. Jordan's greatness started before he ever played a single pro game and he did it against the best pro players in the world.

D rose was the next best in my opinion at absorbing contact and still finishing with the bigs at the rim but no contest Jordan was next level

Fun stuff. Now check out the "Shut up you little B!tch" story. The good one is 15ish mins long iirc and includes multiple ppl telling it and game film. That's Jordan.

So I've been trying to convince young people that are really only familiar with highlights of 96-98 MIDI MJ to watch Voyager or even MJ's historic bulls mixtape. I know that the LeBron fans that do watch either one are blown away. Cuz that's what MJ did. He left our jaws on the floor every night. Voyager displays a lot of hang time and layup package. And the historic mixtape is just loaded with MJ posterizing EVERYONE from mourning, to Ewing, to mutombo to Manute Bol. So to all young people... Especially LeBron fans, who somehow believe LeBron is the GOAT... Go ahead and watch either Michael Jordan Voyager, or Michael Jordan's bullls historic mixtape. If a LeBron fan told me there was a highlight reel of LeBron that I need to watch then I'd watch it. Not that I need to because I've seen his whole career. But LeBron fans refuse to watch the highlight reels of MJ cuz they're terrified of the truth. And those highlight reels will blast the truth right up their asses.

The part showing Jordan getting tackled LeBron would have been laying on the floor crying and then spend a quarter complaining to the refs, mj is a man, LeBron is still a boy

Ppl don't understand what jordan was. LeBron for all his tomahawk dunks will never move like that. This man created shots from nothing and moved like lion. There won't b someone with agility, skill or if ever again.

Did you catch the part when Dennis Rodman punches Mike? Most people miss it because Isaiah tackles mikes head and shoulders a fraction of a second before Dennis punches Mike -- most people only see the tackle on first watch (I missed it on first viewing).

@Acloud1 I think almost everyone misses it on first viewing. The head/shoulders tackle is so distracting and the punch happens almost simultaneously. I didn't see the punch until I watched someone go through the incident frame by frame. But once you see it, you won't believe you missed it. Rodman is literally right in front of Jordan and its an obvious punch. It's at about 8.02 on your video if you wanna check it out. Btw, I meant to answer you sooner...sorry for the delay!. 😇

Most of your generation says Kyrie has the best layup package. Jordan has the best layup package of all time. You haven't even seen all of them yet
