I know you've been fed the narrative, but Lebron can't do anything better than Jordan. He played 24 games as a PG and averaged 30.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 10.7 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. He had an 11-game stretch where he recorded 10 triples doubles and he is the best mid range shooter ever. He played injured for 1.5 seasons as a Wizard (sat out half of a season). As Bull, and a jump shooter he shot 50.5 %, the same as Lebron, who is primarily a dunker. He could go chest to chest and dunk over anyone. Imo, if he could play under the ball handling rules today, he would have Kyrie handles, but wouldn't need them because he could score off of one or two dribbles. James just passed Jordan's career offensive rebounding total this year. So Jordan was a more skilled rebounder.

I would love to add one more thing. It is my opinion. But i am pretty sure the people who really know the game will understand me. If you ask me who was a better winner between Lary Bird and Lebron, hands down i would have say Lary Bird. OMG i think i heard this kid say that Lebron is better than Jordan!!! For Gods Sake kid!!! Thats blasfemy! First of all i love how these youngsters start makinh video reactions and giving opinions without studying the history of the game.... Listen young kid! Just so you know, the year before Lary Bird arrived as a rookie to the Celtics, their record was 29-53. Lary Bird, as a rookie, took that same team and his rookie season their record was 61-21. Yeah, you read it right!! His rookie season....
@enelyam1000
@enelyam1000 5 ай бұрын
Now, there is a lot of people who might say Lary played with 4 hall of famers. And it is true, they ended up as hall of famers. But my point is. Lets be real and honest here. How many of them would have ended up been hall of famers if they did not play with Larry Bird?? Huh?? Because 29-53 to 61-22 record differential just when Lary Bird arrived as a rookie to me says a lot. One more thing. Other than Michael Jordan, you have not ever heard of players been actually afraid to play against anyone. Except for Lary Bird, players were afraid of him too, YES! Lary Bird was that good. And i am talking about african american players, not just the white ones, because they could end embarrased by him at any given point of the game. Which takes me to my main point. When you played against guys like Jordan or Bird, you had to collapse the defense in order to try to stop them. Which makes the game much more easier for the rest of the players on the team to have better looks and better percentage shots. But i think you kidas are not ready for this conversation. As you all just comment about what the media sells to you and what has been happening just in your era as face value that those players are better... You have no idea!! And look young kid, i am not trashing on you because of that. Youre just a victim of how things go in this era and generation where you are not told to learn the history of the game. You just and only care about the guys running the show now. Ok then, My thing is, before you make a comment or an opinion on who is better and whos not. At least grab a sense of all the details before just simply say "My pick is the best" OK, but why exactly is he better?? Because you say so??? I dont think so!!! Anyway, respect kid, and cheers. Keep it up!!! But try to learn from what i just wrote here.....

There really is no GOAT discussion, Jordan wins every major GOAT poll across the internet and by wide margin. About 70% of fans have Jordan as the GOAT, its really not even close. Lebron fans will try to convince you its close, and sports media will try to convince you its close, but its not. I like to hit em with the fact that he's officially played with the most All Stars, including all NBA players, multiple MVPs, Finals MVPs, DPOYs, Scoring Champs, rebounding leaders, all-time 3PT leader, all-time triple double leader, basically having carte Blanche when it comes to putting squads together, and still has the most finals losses in NBA history. And for good measure, he also has the most missed field goals in playoff history. And the list goes on with all his blunders. 2011 alone should remove him from the GOAT convo IMO. Getting totally manhandled on both ends by a 36-year-old bench Jason Terry, holding him to 16 PPG and a humiliating 8 PTS in a pivotal game 4 loss. he's also missed the most career field goals in the playoffs, with 2,925 misses, and is about to catch Kobe for most regular season missed field goals all time. All they go by is stats. I’m waiting to see an MJ flopping video or a video of MJ tapping out of the NBA Finals bc the arena was too hot. Mentally there’s no comparison. LBJ’s mid range isn’t better, post up game is inferior, handle is too loose and cowers in the clutch by comparison. And after all these years he still can’t match his championships - and six MVPs even with that “bubble” ring

I saw somewhere in the internet that he can stay in the air for 0.92 seconds. His vertical jump is 48” and his hand size is the same as Khawi’s, which is 9.75” long and 11.375” wide. There’s a voyager video where he held a very large pumpkin with his hand. I think he is one of the best, if not the best, finishing in the basket. He was very unpredictable. He can dunk on anyone. He can also finish acrobatic layups with either hand. He can also drive to the basket either to his left or right. When he’s not driving to the basket, he shoots his mid range shots. Most of them are fadeaway, which is difficult to block. And yes, he also can fadeaway on his right or left side. That’s why he sometimes gets double or triple-teamed because he was unstoppable. The only person who can stop him is himself, when he’s having an off night. But when he does, he finds a way to score by going to the basket and shoot high percentage shots. He also doesn’t shy away from contact and will draw fouls and shoot free throws.

MJ was a superior, fundamentally sound player who didn't waste moves. These young boys are used to watching iso players and a lack of defense. MJ was double and triple teamed every night and he fanatically, played both sides of the ball. These are some of the reasons why those who saw him during his career, call him the goat. No other player had a complete game like MJ ; not even LBJ. LBJ was drafted when I joined the military and I still haven't seen him consistently, dominate or play like MJ.

You don’t understand ball handling. MJ didn’t dribble for flash. He dribbled for efficiency. The most underrated part of his game was his handle. Kyrie does it for iso oohs and aahs. MJ got to the rim and punched it on ya. Not to mention a lot of the dribble and pivot changing you see today would be illegal in 1990. These guys discontinue dribbles repeatedly but it’s not called. MJ had huge hands but show me one highlight clip where he discontinued. He was the most technically sound player in the game…. AND the most athletic. That’s what made him exceptional

@@LuvnAries23 While I understand your over all point, I watched virtually every Jordan game as a Bulls player live (via tv or at the game) and Jordan didn't give 100% every game. Jordan's intelligence is understated. During the season, you could see his plan. In regular season games he often laid back early and waited to see if a teammate had a hot hand that night... Pippen, Kukoc, Kerr, etc. Jordan didn't try to dominate every regular season game. He was increasing team participation. And it was a way of throttling his energy usage in preparation for the playoffs, where he generally did play to dominate every game. Jordan's amazing stats could have been even more amazing if he had been a stat chaser instead of a team leader and championship chaser. Your point of he was a high intensity player when necessary, that you could set your clock by, is well taken however.

Great video reaction. So, to answer your questions that I recall. 1. Your next video should be Dangerproductions best GOAT comparison. Because, LeBron is not, better than Jordan. 2. Jordan's vertical leap was 46"- 48" during his Bulls career. The highest jump ever analyzed that I remember was 52" from an in game analysis. 3. Jordan is the greatest scorer in NBA history, he still holds the record for highest ppg in the regular season and the playoffs. 4. Jordan was much better in the mid-range than Demar. 5. Jordan is by far the greatest finisher at the rim to ever play. 6. My favorite Jordan moment is the last 40 seconds of game 6 of the 1998 Finals. Followed closely by the last 15 seconds of the 1989 game 5 series vs the Cavs. 7. My favorite Jordan shoe is the 10's 8. I forgot this one, but nobody has ever jumped, hung in the air, and created like Jordan. However, if you're just looking for in game dunks, watch Vince Carter. One thing to remember, Jordan wasn't going 1v1, he was going 2v1 or 3v1 a lot of times. He wasn't just a scorer, he was a 10x scoring champ, 9x All-Defensive FIRST Team Member, a DPOY, and a 3x steals leader. He also didn't play in the era of 3 point madness, 98% of his points came from 2's, and he didn't play in this open lane era, when he drove the ball, he was challenging giants every time.

He wasn't playing conservatively at all, but he wasn't always giving 100% because he had a reserve level of acceleration. When the game was important and to recover a point difference or decide the game, he could focus even more. Also, in the playoffs and then in the finals, he had better results than in the regular season. In one of the first years, he tried to see how it goes to give more match after match and succeeded, before getting tired, to make 9 games of 40+ points (otherwise he could have continued :) ). I think that only Wilt and Kobe (who wanted to imitate him) have succeeded in this. Lebron is better in his dreams only.

Not only was MJ great on offense, he was also a defensive player of the year and a 9 time 1st team all defensive player. He was a clutch as it gets and was never defeated in the NBA finals. He never disappeared in the finals like Lebron did. Take it from somebody who has seen both play, and not just watching highlights, Lebron will never be on MJ's level. DeRozan definitely is not a better midrange shooter than MJ and doesn't even belong in the same conversation. One person who can probably jump as high as MJ is Vince Carter. You should watch his video if you haven't already.

The thing that the younger generations simply don't realize is that this was MJ every 👏 single 👏 night 👏. No plays off. No rest management. No resting on defense. No backing down. He WAS thee Apex predator of the league! Unrivaled in determination & killer instinct. Skilled in everyway. Motivated to play every game at a level others just couldn't reach. Ten scoring titles (NBA record) in an era where physicality was at its highest (imagine how many more he would have had if players couldn't touch him), 6 Championships (2 three peats with no losses), 5 MVPs, 6 Finals MVPs, a Defensive Player of the Year award (despite what recent videos try to tell you), back to back Slam Dunk Champ (though that is whatever), 2 time Olympic Gold Medalist and countless other benchmark stats that have yet to be broken. Still the only player in NBA history to win the scoring title, MVP, a Championship, Finals MVP and be named to the All-Defensive 1st team in the same season. He did that 4 times. Nearly every obscure stat has Jordan's name on top of it or in it. The greatest mid range game of all time. A defensive killer. Clutch in everyway. And all of this was done in the Golden Era of the league, in effectively 14 seasons. Twelve seasons if we only look at his Bulls years. Nearly eleven Bulls years if we take out the majority of his second season that he lost due to a foot injury. That is an insane accumulation of accomplishments and stats in such a relatively average length career. He played all 82 in 9 of those seasons as well, which is just ridiculous. Just imagine the accomplishments and stats he could have accumulated had he played 17, 18, 19 or 20 seasons. Just imagine where he would be sitting on the "all-time" lists. How many more titles and points he would have amassed. Imagine if he doesn't retire for two years in his PRIME or Jerry Krause/Reinsdorf don't kick Phil to the curb at the end of The Last Dance in '98 making MJ's decision to retire again that much easier. That Bulls team had the ability to win 8 straight, maybe more. Just imagine how much higher the benchmarks would have been pushed. It's insane to think about. Also, take this into consideration. LeBron passed Kareem in scoring in year 20. We know this. Great accomplishment. But that is a longevity stat anyway you look at it. Kobe, Karl, LeBron and Kareem all sit above Jordan on the scoring list and they all played 20 seasons or more. Now think of this, at 14 seasons respectively, Jordan was ahead of all 4 of them in points. Jordan was nearly 5000 points ahead of LeBron at the same time in their careers, not to mention Jordan led Lebron in every major statistical category other than assists at that point as well. So one can deduce that had Jordan played longer, he would have easily passed Kareem over 20 years ago. Just give Jordan back the two years he retired in his prime and give him back his second season, that right there is Kareem passing territory. In what, 17 seaons? Years ahead. Not to mention, that might have put him atop the all-time steals list as well. The dude was a scoring weapon and defensive nightmare. And let's face it, getting to the highest stage in the game and going undefeated, is a notch in the belt Lebron will never have. No matter how long he plays. I am not hating on Lebron, because greats are greats. But come on. There are levels to this and Jordan set the benchmark that has yet to be broken. As David Stern said of Jordan "You are the standard by which basketball excellence is measured". Jordan, simply put, is the GOAT. PS... Jordan's quote about players playing differently in different eras was a sign of respect. He never proclaimed himself the greatest, he let his peers do that for him. Which in itself, shows the reverence he has for the game.

You should listen to what Kevin Durant said about Michael Jordan. Just look up a video or something of him talking about it and he he literally says in his Michael Jordan would be literally the best player in the NBA if he played today. Most people consider the bulls greatest team of all time they definitely had the best season of all time and that’s actually proven. MJ has a 50 inch vertical is 6‘6“ tall and he runs a 4.3 in the 50 m dash. And to answer your question yes, he has the best mid range shot of all time and that’s the stats prove that. He won six files got all six MVPs in those finals got five MVP’s for the year. He’s been robbed of for which is also been proven. But I actually have a question for you as far as your dunking ability goes do you have videos showing your dunks. Oh yeah, Jordan also won the dunking contest twice against NBA ball players and can jump from the free-throw line and don’t get as well. Put your link and I want to see your dogs if you have any second why aren’t playing in the NBA? And I would definitely say the bulls team is the greatest of all time because that same bulls team won three championships in a row and as good as the warriors were, they could never straighten three championships together. They only did two. And then when Jordan came off retirement that same bowl‘s team won another three all back to back to back not losing one and not one of those championships ever went to a game seven. But it’s cool that you were at least seeing his highlights. I know you like LeBron but you should really take a look at Jordan Jordan literally it didn’t matter how big you were the man was very strong, and when I say strong, his first step was on like anybody’s I’ve ever seen play. His hands are massive and for the record Dr. Jay had the biggest hands in the NBA and I think Shaquille O’Neal was like next and then I think it was like Will Chamberlain and then I think Jordans. But Jordan could literally catch it like he was catching a football with one hand he did that a bun, and she would always use one hand in each, and you could shoot with either hand as well, and dunk with either hand, and he could jump off 2 feet or even 1 foot to dunk it didn’t matter he could do both. I’m serious about your videos. I’m gonna check your channel out here in a second, but Jordan has done literally every dog you can think of pretty much it, but he did those when he was going to college and like the 360s and all that stuff windmills underneath the legs. The man could literally do it all.
