As somebody who use to play Basketball all the time when i was younger , a half court shot is really not that impressive but , making a half court shot in coverage with seconds remaining on an NBA court ... Yah. Thats impressive. Added bonus , its Michael Jordan so , not only are you gonna get a half court shot , youre gonna get a double clutch in the air , air time , with the signature fade away leg kick.

Listen to the announcers at the last one. If any player hits a shot like that in today's game, the announcers go crazy, then they show 5 to 6 replays all at different angles then shown a few more times on SportsCenter including the top 10 plays of the day. Today's hype up anything and everything for entertainment value.

@1RonBurgundy1 However in the PLAY-OFFS MJ was a better 3-Point shooter than Larry Bird. If you compare their 3-point shooting Play-Off careers, MJ averaged 33.2% while Larry Bird averaged 32.1%. The numbers don't lie. MJ doesn't get enough credit for his 3-Point shooting. He was intelligent enough to go for high percentage shots, but could shoot 3's when he wanted to, and thought it was the right shot to take. As Jerry West said, MJ is the only player he's seen who had no weaknesses.
