Blessings to Jeffrey and his Mom! Credit to D-Scott for showing up. I guarantee he didn't have to make this trip. Going to Spokane is not a small commitment when you live in Atlanta and Scott didn't take his/corp. jet. Jordan is 1,000% the GOAT but he's never impressed me with supporting his fans, in the way close, to the they support him. I idolized him as a child. Now...as an adult, I'd much rather meet Craig Ehlo, Barkley, Starks, Dumars, etc.

I still think what Michael did for the world was more than enough, in his playing days he visited tons of childrens hospitals and made visits to the mentally handicapped and gave gifts looooong before the manditory NBA Cares Program became an on-camera moment. Obviously it would have been amazing if Michael had been able to make the trip to go and see Jeffrey on this day but there are undoubtly millions of people who would love to have a minute of Michael's time, and after so many years a lot of famous people do lose the passion and drive to continue to make those visits, and Michael is somebody who is still extremely busy on a business end day in and day out. I've met several NBA players, going to see Ray Allen tomorrow as a matter of fact, the Basketball Hall of Fame does a wonderful Summer program and I've gone many times over the years to meet guys. To me, the most you can do for these guys as a fan is expect as little as possible, and just thank them for the entertainment.
