People were scared of MJ because the better someone played against him, the better he played. If you looked like you wanted to go at him, he’d make a point of being even better. He was ferocious. Like BJ said, he learned how to win a basketball game at some point and then didn’t lose after that. People aren’t scared of Steph like they were if Shaq or MJ. Those guys don’t lose in their primes and were probably physically painful and exhausting to guard. Just my opinion.

There are a lot of better player and stronger than Mike during his era, what make MJ really scary is he easily adapt into their game and attack their weaknesses, he is a master observant and master of basketball, he ain't the most skillfull or the most toughest but he specialize being the master of adjustment and with that he has all the answer to every guy that tryung to compete with him. It is like boxing you adjust and adapt and learned your opponent, that is MJ in basketball.
