Relive the best "hang time" plays of Michael Jordan with this top 50.
It was very difficult for me to select only 50 ones because there is so
many others ... i hope you will enjoy it.
If there is a term which could define correctly MJ it would be "hang time".
He was literally flying in every games, on every players , Twisting his body and
articulating the arms, changing his direction , hanging in the air with his big hands
and delivered crazy lay ups or circus shots.
He is not define by a single moove like Jabbar's Sky Hook ... he just have developed
his sport towards another level ... He made ART While challenging the laws
of the physics.
Indeed MJ just faced the gravity and overcame it all the time.
The greatest player of all time.

I remember watching MJ, the great Bob Costas once said "Lots of guys are strong and lots of guys have skill, but only one guy has this level of artistry" MJ wasn't a BBALL player, he was a artist painting his masterpiece. Poetry in motion. I'm truly blessed to be able to say I watched this guy from North Carolina become probably the most famous human alive.

#1 is for me, the greatest move in the history of the game. Its matrix type shit. Everytime I see it I still can't believe it.I miss MJ. The excitement of knowing that everytime he had the ball you might see something you'll never see again is gone now and the with all the rule changes I just don't enjoy watching the NBA anymore. That's MJs fault,he ruined the game for me!! Now it's just like YAWWWWN.How blessed are those of us who were lucky enough to watch Rembrandt paint his masterpieces every night on the court??!! THANKS MJ,YOUR THE REASON I LOVE THE GAME AND WHY I STARTED PLAYING AS A KID! FOREVER THE GOAT.

@Diane KAKE Sorry Diane. I have to be rude and say fuck that. What he wants, what alot of people want, is to really travel back in time and live it/ feel it all over again. Never again has been another player that could do what Jordan did. Take the Shrug Game, for example. It was absolutly crazy. You can hear it in the commentator, you can watch it on KZbin, but you can never erase it from your mind, completly not expect it to happen or even be possible, absolutly out of consideration and then first game comes and he completly shoots out the roof of any of your expectations, knocking down records in the triple point line, exactly where everybody was saying that he was weak, and absoluty destroys the Blazers, who never really recovered from such a feat. It's like you expect Trump to start the third world war and all the sudden he fucking blows up the entire Universe. Better yet, it's kind like you expect Lebron to win 5... 6... 7... championships and he ends up with 15. Sadly, that didn't go all so well, did it?! ;)

Only player i know that can change directions in mid air. He can make defense swat and miss, not once, not twice but sometimes even 3 times. Them backward layups were incredible, and he did them on a regular without hardly missing. Hell of a hang time. He waited till defense came back down before he would let go of the ball. Freakin Amazing. If this doesnt show how great MJ was, i dont know what will . He really is the GOAT.

I've watched 100s of Jordan vids. This is the best! This truly displays the separation between MJ and "all" others.... everyone else is a "distant" 2nd. A true virtuoso (the bball was his instrument), artist, acrobat, magician.....! You are right though, there are so many others of MJ you missed. Most NBA players have 5 memorable plays/moves a year, Jordan had at "least" 2 every game! Glad I lived during the MJ era...I can rest in peace!

Couldn't agree more! Bc MJ was a virtuoso and renaissance man, the Bach of sports, the Da Vinci of basketball - this video combines the right clips, edited in the proper order with the right music to seamlessly show the GOAT in all his glory. His grace in mid-air was like a figure skater or ballerina. The difference is that those routines are choreographed. His mid-air artistry in games were his reaction to the defense. Even his dunk contest dunks weren't rehearsed. He was more concerned with working on his overall game, so when the dunk contest came around, he is quoted saying "I just decide what to do once I'm in the air." There will be a massive gap between #1 all-time and #2 all-time perhaps forever.

Look up the artistry of Michael Jordan. It has some sick moves as well. U could actually do a top 1000 hangtime vid of Mike & it would still go hard af. I saw him do a crazy layup against GS that I've never even seen on any highlight & it was just as sick as most of these. & all this from the same guy who hit 6 consecutive game winning/tying shots in the finals & won 6 rings while leading the league in scoring all 6x. GOAT w/o question

Btw that if that no. 4 play happened in todays game, the offensive player will hold his head, lie down for 2 min and act like he's badly hurt, then the refs will review the scene over and over and rule a flagrant 1. smh...

i watched him every game i could from north carolina tar heels to the bulls. Ive been watching bball for over 50 yrs. and have seen some great ballplayers. I was a dr. j fan for many yrs. and he was a leaper . I think larry bird was one the smartest ballplayers, fantastic shooter ..A team player, bird could have scored alot more points, he wanted wins and sacrificed that part of the game to get his team involved.Bill Russell and bird alot alike as far as attitude and never give up.Russell ran the floor like no other center, last one i saw that came close was karl malone. Russells defense around the rim was fantastic alot like hakeem olijawon. MJ was i believe the best pound for pound. Great leaper, acrobatic in the air like know one else!!!,great defensive player, a man possessed with gifts from the gods. He was the chief on the floor and he trashed talked but could he back it up! I miss mj alot and i dont think anyones really taken his place, kobe, lebron great ballplayers . There was a magic about mj,never knew from night to night what move he would pull out of the hat..and man do i miss that excitement. I personally think the greatest gifted center of alltime was wilt chamerlain. ,this man at 7foot 2 could leap over 3 feet off the floor, and i mean unstoppable in the paint..They changed the game because of this man..he dunked from free throw line long ago, they made the lane wider to get him away from basket, used to be able to touch the ball in the cylinder above the rim ,of course today cant touch it or its goal tending, the inbounds pass over the backboard made illegal ,because on out of bounds play would have wilt waiting and nobody could stop him from scoring..His rebounding next to none, scored a 100 points and i think if he were playing today could have scored more than a hundred because they didnt have the shot clock back then. He was a mountain of a man,i saw the best men in nba try to guard him ,holding him and he would take then for a ride and dunk it with them hanging on..I watched wilt every chance i got growing up ,i was in awe of this mans strength and jumping ability. Watching him over the yrs., I think wilt actually felt sorry for guys he played against, for him it was easy, and there were times guys would try to block chamberlain dunk and chamberlain could have broke there arms on the rim and he would gently lay it in. This man had the hardest dunks ive ever seen, a bullet to the floor.,watch this guys highlights. This may have been a weakness, if you want to call it that, in chamberlains game..Michael on the other hand was hardcore winner and taunt you when he did it and there lies the difference in number of championships brought home.

You're fucking crazy for thinking wilt Chamberlain would score over a hundred today. He would dominate no doubt but in his era there were actually more possessions per game. Watch Mike korzemba why wilts 100 point game is overrated

@@michaelryder166 Bro reading is fundamental. How can you even question a man who said he's been watching basketball for over 50+ year's.he just explain to you that he watched literally 5 different era's of basketball. Do you not know Russell played in the 50's/60's. So did Wilt. Then add to Dr. J who played in the 70's/80's. And then Jordan 80's/90's. Then to add in modern day basketball 00's/2010's. How can you serious called him "fucking crazy" when you probably only watched 00's/2010's basketball. You just literally disrespect the man of what he's witnessed.

Man was he such a giant inspiration to us kids back in the 90s.i got into basketball because of him, Barkley, tim hard away and others. But it was mainly the high flying of him that really resonated with me. I turned into a jumping bean. I had a basketball court at home, my aunties, school, after school the playground had hoops so I'd practice, then at home I had a hoop in my room and I was constantly playing NBA games. I was so immersed in basketball. Lol. But me and a best friend of mine. He was thin and he looked like if he jumped in the air he could glide sleekly in it. I was thinner than him but somehow I looked bulky and like a brick lmao. But we were always jumping around like Jordan, flying to the hoop, getting that lay-in. Once we played 21 tips. And man that was the ultimate air battle for supremacy lol. Everytime one of us shot and it missed, BOTH. Of us were fighting each other in the air for the rebound and the put back lol. Never lost a 21 game. Now me and my basketball brother and other friends would probably have multiple heart attacks just trying to run down court lol. But Michael was the true inspiration to us as kids. We were motivated deeply with a burning fire to get as good as we could and beyond.
