Just for people who want facts on why Jordan is the GOAT. There is a comment floating on here that says: Some ppl intentionally not to mention the opponents MJ played against, in that era Danny Ainge, Dennis Johnson, Jeff Hornacek, Mark Price…were stars. Players were averagely more skinny, smaller, slower, only a few can jump high or shoot 3’s, no big man can dribble, no eurosteps, no shammgod. They played brute, but no skills. Hand check yes, but no zone defense, to which Kobe said “I don’t care if yo hand check with 3 hands” “the zone I think cripples some of the top scorers” When prime MJ left the bulls in 93’ the went from 57 wins to 55, when prime LeBron left cavaliers in 10’ they went 62 wins to 19. And MJ fans always lie about MJ stuff, for example "his vertical jump is 48 inches" and "his body fat ratio is 3%" If those were true, LeBron & Carter would have a 50 inch vertical jump and Helmut Strebl would have -3% body fat ratio. ----------------------------------------------------- Jordan played against plenty of stars and HOF's in his career. It is a myth that he ONLY played against plummers. In fact, there are PLENTY of bums that LBJ has played against. Another myth is the size and speed of players. This again, is a old wives tale. Players were very big and very fast. In fact the fastest players and most athletic players still came from Jordans era. Another myth is that Zone defense was never played. It was. Literally the triangle defense started back with jordan. MJ made his teammates BETTER. Constantly practicing and challening them this is why when he left they were still better players. LJB isnt that leader. His teams never got better. MJ literally is called "Jump Man" for a reason. He to this day has the highest verticle in the history of the NBA. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.

Who is the GOAT has become a rhetorical question.

did you watch the NBA in 1993? If you did you'd know the Bulls were a 67 win calibre team, they coasted a little pacing themselves after going back to back and the olympics. Also the Bulls went 1-3 (25%) in the 4 games MJ didn't play that year

Dennis Johnson was a great defender. He was a 6'4 (only 1" shorter than MJ) who played PG more than SG Mark Price was a great player, a great PG. If anything he's underrated. Jeff Hornacek was an okay player, not great and definitely not bad. He looked like a goofy white boy, but he could play. Danny Ainge was a role player, he wasn't a bad player either.
