2 things. Those SilverDome games are another kind of classic. Probably one of the last old school nba contracts in a football stadium. Despite being a cavern it was daylight bright and the acoustics had the sound of a high school gym & a prequel to the bad boys era when Rodman was a kid & Kelly Tripuka (intro dunk) was doing Kelly Tires in Detroit . 2. It’s still fascinating to watch Bill Cartwright get a shot up.

Wrong! Michael Jordan never debuted a new shoe at the all star game. I’ll explain. Only the Jordan 3s and 4s did he debut the new shoe at the all star game. But it was ONLY the new color way. He never debut a new show halfway thru the season.
