I saw Michael live last week at a brilliant smaller venue in Brighton, where he was touring the new album - just him, a bassist and two backing singers. I'm not very familiar with Home Again so I didn't know this when it came on but I was drunk enough that I could just shut my eyes and let it wash over me. When I opened them, I think everyone around me was crying to themselves, and so was I. It was a really, really beautiful moment and I just want to feel that again

I first heard this song a couple years ago. I immediately fell in love with the instrumental and vocals. It was around this time my sweet Pug started to show aging. I felt the lyrics considering his time to pass would eventually come. I played this song to him a couple of times this week while he was fighting in his final days. Then again this today during euthanasia. As I play this now I remember him laying on my chest looking into each other's eyes as he took his final breathes. This song means more to me now then ever as I grieve over his 15 years of joy he has given me. Chops, close your eyes and let them rest... 3/4/22

For some unclear reason, this song strongly reminds me of "Little Green Apples" by O.C. Smith! I don't know what it is about it, if it's the rhythm or the harmony structure or the basic melody part.
