This 7 minutes of tasteful creation of tone colours pretty much makes 80% of so-called “great guitar playing” of the last 40 years redundant.

the damm guitar keeps in tune wtf
@chrislestermusic5 жыл бұрын
I think if the springs are setup right and the nut is cut and lubed properly they stay in tune great. I have mine free floating and unless I break a string it doesn’t go out of tune. I do the Carl Verheyen method with the springs even though some people say it’s BS. Works for me.
@enricopallazzo29875 жыл бұрын
I know KZbin and the internet in general are full of know-it-alls, but I've had the cheapest piece of crap guitars, with no name tuning heads and "crappy" bridges, full floating Floyd style tremolo bridges and the like ALL stay in tune perfectly thru 3 set nights full of abuse and hard playing by stretching strings properly, making sure the guitar is set up properly and the nut is cut correctly for your preferred string gauge. Doesn't matter what the nut is made out of, and I definitely NEVER used any sauce or lube in the nut, I think all those potions are hilarious personally. Most people I see with tuning probs either don't stretch their strings correctly or don't wind the strings correctly. But I'm sure there's 100 guys waiting to tell me I'm full of shit. Lol
@chrislestermusic5 жыл бұрын
Enrico Pallazzo I wouldn’t argue with that. Your point about putting the strings on properly and stretching are soooo important and yet I didn’t remember to mention it. Ha! You are spot on, in my opinion.
@john-zw9rw4 жыл бұрын
Your final tune...after you've completed your bridge set-up, should be with the spring claw.....Thats the Strat ...secret....... tune just the G and B...... the rest will be perfect.........

Mr. Jeff Beck is more interesting. I admit that Mr. Landau is more advanced in more ways than one. But he never scares me, not even once. Jeff does that all the time.

Good god. Take your power back in life and stop running from shadows. No one can put you down the rabbit hole of conspiracy theories but yourself. It isn’t a healthy place to visit let alone live.
@RevGary4 жыл бұрын
@@chrislestermusic what are you on about? Are you a conspiracy denier?
@chrislestermusic4 жыл бұрын
Rev Gary Rockin Preacher Is that the only option? Is there only one conspiracy? What I am “on about” is how much power people give away. The power symbols and words have are the reactions that we give to them. Look throughout history how many times humans have been lead by superstition and paranoia. Nothing healthy or helpful seems to ever come from it yet over and over again we fall into the “burn the witches” mentality. My point being that this is a live Michael Landau video. The fact that people are fixated on the backdrop is a little surprising to me that’s all.
@RevGary4 жыл бұрын
@@chrislestermusic when you opened with "Good God" taking the Lord's name in vain that's when you gave the game away that you're not a Christian. That and your insolent disrespectful attitude.
