I met Michael Landon around 1986. He was was taking a break from filming and saw me standing off to the side watching. He took the time to walk over to me, ask the name of my dog. Pet my dog and ask how I was doing. He proceeded to ask if I were enjoying watching the process and invited me to come closer for a better look. I was blown away by his kindness... I've met many celebrities in my life but without reservation, I can say he was larger than life. A really good person.

Oh wow you are a lucky man. I was nine years old when he died and had never the chance to met him. I can imagine this was a wonderful happening for you. Thanks for telling me your Michael Landon story. Best wishes from Germany.

I get so jealous hearing these stories, oh how I wish I had known him in the flesh cause I love him so. This video made me cry so hard, some things we just won't understand and one is why the good one always seems to leave first. Michael has left such a hole in so many hearts. I'm soooo happy that he was so loved, because I think he deserved all the love he got. Rest dearest Michael Landon aka little Joe ♥️♥️♥️

Conocí a Michael con la inigualable serie Bonanza me encantaba, vi también La Familia Inglés y Camino al Cielo daba la impresión que era un hombre sensible a pesar que los actores no son siempre lo que muestran en la TV. Cuando falleció Michael Landon lloré mucho porque con sus personajes me recordó mucho mi infancia. También le pedí a Dios que él pudiera descansar y estar mejor donde se fue.

I don't know if you will ever see this reply, it's been 2 years since you posted your comment. Nevertheless, I had to respond. I have always felt the same way about Michael Landon. There are two people I'm sorry I never met in real life. One was Michael the other was Elvis. I want to meet them both in the life to come just to say thank you for making a difference in this world. People the world over loved them truly. They were both giant talents within their chosen fields.
