Dr. Michael Levin your research in bioelectricity and the extracellular matrix (ECM) has opened new doors for understanding cellular communication, regeneration, and intelligence. By exploring how these systems interact with each other and respond to various stimuli - including electromagnetic signals, glycobiome patterns, quantum effects within biological systems, and more - you are pushing the boundaries of our knowledge in biology, physics, chemistry, engineering, and computer science. I'm thrilled by the prospect of seeing how your combined expertise will lead to breakthroughs that could revolutionize regenerative medicine, robotics, and even quantum computing applications inspired by nature. Together with other pioneers working at this intersection of disciplines - including experts in IR therapy, biophotonics, and other emerging fields - you are paving the way for a truly interdisciplinary approach to tackling complex problems related to health, technology, and our understanding of life itself. Thank you both for your groundbreaking work, and I look forward to seeing what exciting discoveries await us in this rapidly evolving area of research!

"Michael Levin was born in Moscow, USSR, in 1969, in a Jewish family. His parents faced antisemitism in the Soviet Union, and in 1978 took advantage of a visa program for Soviet Jews and moved the family to Lynn, Massachusetts. Levin's father was a computer programmer and worked for the Soviet weather service; his mother was a concert pianist." He is the Einstein of biology!

Thank You Michael Levin & Team. This is super exciting. What do You think drives our morphogenetic pattern memory (min 55:00)? It makes Me wonder if the disintegration of cytoplasmic EZ (coherent) water has an impact on the ability to channel ions for maintaining this pattern. What are Your thoughts here?

re: bioelectric patterns can't be discerned in dead tissue 2 yrs ago there was a Nature journal YT video about a new type of microscope slide that could detect cancerous cells without staining - 'Cancer in nanocolour: a new type of microscope slide'. It was based on research in the paywalled article 'Colorimetric histology using plasmonically active microscope slides'. I'm still wondering about how this works. One of the suggested mechanisms was that it is picking up on differences in the cytoskeleton. There is bidirectional interaction between the cytoskeleton and ion channels which controls the gradient of ions across the cell membrane. This technique might be a way to indirectly discern bioelectric patterning at the time of preservation.

I just think these ideas are beautiful. I have three kids, two whom have genetic mutations that eff with their body's ability to process salt, so this mucus gunk hampers multiple organs such that they struggle to absorb nutrition, to breathe, among other things. The gene modulator they take, we and our Drs suspect, is not targeted well given the drugs were designed with the most common mutation variant. So, we've started to see build-ups of mucus and scarring in organs. But these beautiful people in this community... I am just filled with awe. I wept when I saw that happy little anthrobot mend the wounded neuronal tissue. Because I felt an emotion I haven't for so long. Hope. I feel desire to help in any way I can. I got a Ph.D. in the wrong field (health economics), perhaps. Do any of these teams need the perspectives of an empirical economist? I want to learn anything I can about these things.

Wild what incredible amounts of knowledge in such novel fields Dr. Michael Levin has. This was an incredible watch, giving us grounding on what is currently possible and what are the limitations. Thank you all for pushing the boundaries of what's going to be possible, imagine conditioning human cells to restore their memory in order to avoid aging. Probably won't be available in our lifetime, if not for gigantic amounts of capital, but the upcoming generations might indeed hit escape velocity against aging in and of itself, maybe even at an affordable price. I'm mind blown.

Fascinating! Please put Michael Levin and Dr. Alexander Fedintsev in one (virtual) room and don't let them out too soon. There's no way on earth the ECM and the glycobiome isn't of relevance to the interviewees work. Also whoever else you can find on quantum biology, IR therapy, shouldn't be a bad idea.

This technology only matters if they actually apply it to people. As far as i understand they havent even started animal trials, which makes the implementation of this like 2 decades away at the least.

Not according to Michael Levin , he has said in previous talks he expects positive real life transformations within humans within 10 years - remember , if he gets the automatic tools built and an A.I. to sift through the data , this could be an exponential growth rate ...watch this space!

@@elizabethwinsor-strumpetqueen A scientist saying we're x years away doesnt ever really matter. Particle physicists and fusion reactors for example. His discoveries are world changing, species altering, but only after if is built apon and applied. It only matters once they start trials.

The key is to get the mainstream biology community to accept this theory, more people getting involved in researching this, better imaging techniques are needed (similar to nuclear magnetic resonance instead of dyes), better intervention techniques (better drugs or instruments) if we can develop this, then progress will be very fast

Even beyond biology We've been needing a phenotypical model that will help young minds try and get a grip on emerging energetic actors of indirect lines of detection measured value or constant of nature that should be there on the smallest scales. It's not everything alive physicalism or dualism but clearly a feature Issac Newton and many others knew but got subverted ,detoured, by passed or whatever. To scale this natural feature of info about anything and everything it can ever be is definable no matter what critical extreme states it will or can be ran through and phase changed. This was detoured and deflected by the eclesatical input and perimeters set by a more European movement that America built coalition & accommodated but I'm fairly certain classical America's very reductionistic it wouldn't have rationalize the world through once upon a time evolutionary form and shape if not for allys proud heritage and wants to dictate terminologies this way. But this messes with sychosis and ignores known issues that Statitistical anylitic can't pair with .
