The roosters player was not allegedly driving unlicensed, crossing onto the incorrect side of the road and having a head on with a Uber driver with passengers in the car and allegedly failing a police drug test. Also, no insurance being unlicensed. As I said eight weeks for name calling let’s see what the Broncos player gets. Just putting things into perspective.

He made the decision to consume a dangerous substance, that was not a mistake, it was a choice. He chose to drive while under the influence of that drug, that is not a mistake, it is a choice. Any NRL player who is caught consuming illicit drugs of any sort, regardless of the circumstances should be permanently deregistered from the NRL and put behind bars.

As I grew up, I had to live and learn the 5R,s in life reading, writing ,arithmetic ,respect & responsibility but the last 2 are important he didn’t respect the law drove unlicensed and responsibility. Just shows how many players are on recreational drugs during the year. Most clubs will start pre season soon so you reckon he’s ready to go chasing a ring in 2025 !!! Surely the GMs as part of recruiting players should ask simple questions including if a player holds a basic driver’s license. Driving on drugs, unlicensed and get into a prang on the other side of the road without a death was lucky and could have been life changing for the individuals and the NRL. Aside from the innocent people affected by these players poor actions why would anyone need rehabilitation if drugs aren't a problem... So he's either doing rehabilitation for sentencing purposes which will ultimately fail because he truly doesn't want to be there or he's doing rehabilitation because he believes it's a problem for him and his life which would suggest hes taken it more than once... Yes ,people make mistakes, but if it was anyone else , or if it was your child, family . !! He knew no license, he knew drugs , he knew speed. Should be punished appropriately If it was someone else ,no discussion, . Sorry he is an adult ,face consequences
