I just met Murph at the show he does in Red River, NM. I am 61 and have been listening to him since WIldfire come out in what ...74? I have a brief dialog with him, and he is sure a great guy, and a great Christian, and he lives his beliefs. He take s a moment here and there to throw in his two cents worth on our values in this country, in caring for our world. He isn't a big climate change freak, it is just common sense. God gave this beauty to us and we need to take care of our beautiful earth. He has a beautiful heart and is a great man of God.

Even though I was only 7 or 8 at the time, I remember being moved by this song. Not just from how it was sung, or by the beautiful melody, but I could tell both my Mom and Dad loved this song. They never said anything, but every time it came on the radio in our car, our entire family would go silent and just listen. It connects me to my family, when we were all young and all together. R.I.P. Mom and Dad. I love you.

Some dark days ahead but there's light at the end of the tunnel. There;s an outfit called GriefShare that you might want to look into. I think they're all over the country. What a loss for this now generation, all is loud and w/no meaning. Maybe one day, they will look back in amazement and realize, us old folks, really had it going on! Definitely one of the greats. He spoke about his American wife. I read that they wed in 2017, and found some video of their indian wedding. Very nice. He was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Now has a working farm/ranch in Colorado which he's had for years. Said he bought it in the early to mid 80's. He was very open and honest. Says he only does shows now for charity, and for the love of it. Christian man too. He said to look up this video fro 76 to see his long hair. So here I am.

One of the best songs ever written. And sang. I'm a country boy not a cowboy so I never had much to do with horses until I got hired as a youth counselor at a therapeutic boarding school for at risk youth. Where I became the team leader in the Hospice horse program in our equine department. Watching kids who were ex gang members from L.A. bond with these horses truly changed my life. I can tell you from personal experience. That horses are some of the most majestic animals on earth and our country would be 50 or more years behind where we are today if it weren't for these beautiful powerful creatures. Ride on Wildfire

Wow - this is what Murph looked like when I first met him. I remember that hair! He still performs this song to this day - better than ever.

I grew up in Western Queensland back in the 60s and i used to have wild brumbys come into my backyard. So beautiful. Love horses, the most beautiful animals in the world. So magnificent and proud.
