The musicality of EVERY INDIVIDUAL on the stage is just class

Michael McDonald at his best , The best version of 'I Keep Forgettin " I have ever seen , the back up vocals are perfect , that woman on the drum kit is a solid as it gets and keeps the sexiest smooth groove , the sax just rocks & the whole band is solid , This an example how it is supposed to be done !!!! , There is no new music that can even touch this work of art

He's still got it...... that white boy/soul voice in the tradition of so many white boys with THAT sound .......lucky lucky lucky. He hasn't lost one bit!!! So what if the Doobie Bros got a little less rock and roll. They made some good music with him too. This song used to make me sob. The lyrics are so familiar to anyone who's had to breakup with THAT someone!!!

I keep forgettin' we're not in love anymore I keep forgettin' things will never be the same again I keep forgettin' how you made that so clear I keep forgettin' Everytime you're near Everytime I see you smile Hear your "hello" Saying you can only stay a while Hey, I know that it's hard for you To say the things that we both know are true But tell me how come I keep forgettin' we're not in love anymore I keep forgettin' things will never be the same again I keep forgettin' how you made that so clear I keep forgettin' Everytime I hear How you never want to live a lie How it's gone too far And you don't have to tell me why Why you're gone and the game is through If this is what's real, if this is what's true Tell me how come I keep…

I agree, especially when they get with the Rn'B. Kenny Loggins is another one who can deliver. Have you seen the special featuring Kenny and Michael? Those guys are great together.

No, No, we never wanted to live that lie how we tried to live our lives when the dangers were appearing from the start but secret lovers know of the limitations we know you're not mine we remember we are not in love no more of that special feeling to see you come back to me with a voice that whispers prospects of never before known love of built on a real commitment to stick together through on our journey to each other in another world we will know each other now we make it on our own possibly I am the one waiting as in Godot waiting for what never comes a phantasy of a love built on a dream of us you almost remember will it be said if he had lived he would have waited longer into old age maybe longer yet a fear and trembling unto the next stage linger on a troubled soul now at days end late into the wondering if will there be anything left a broken dream and love resting on a half broken heart tending to odd imaginations so this is called moving on reflecting on after what remains of the bright future a tranquil Eden of paradise but now a harsh storm carries the lovers forward by their will created by a determination directed and sustained by a faith buried in their dream which never dies though we may our love dream lives for dreams as these never die
