I'm 37 now, I was probably around maybe 6 years old when this song got heavy play on the radio and it's always stuck in my head since. 30 years later, and a musician, whole new appreciation for this and a lot of 80's tunes.

Wow, the bridge at 2.33, those backing vocals, MM's vocals, chord changes with strings. Incredible piece of music. Let's not forget Rod Temperton, a Yorkshire man, who lit up the world with Off The Wall, Thriller, Patti Austin, and more. RIP Mr Temperton. What a legacy

I first heard this song I was in bed.I was going through a bad time in my life.It seems every thing was falling apart.This this song got me up.It was the muscic video mr kristal andmr hines.This lifted me up and I have never forgotten it.Much love to all who made this song.Michael McDonald if I ever meet him I would shake his hand.I lokk back at the 80 and think.Those years had some of the best movies and music.
