I've always been Team Michael! The Princess Diaries is based on the books, and we all know that Michael was Mia's greatest love (They got married and had twins). It's a shame that Robert was busy with his band's (Rooney) schedules and couldn't reprise his role as Michael 😔. But I've heard that he mentioned if there's ever a Princess Diaries 3, he's open to play as Michael again 😊
