We live in the buckle of the Bible Belt in Tennessee and he still can't find a wife. 😥 But we're still hoping and praying. But my, now, husband (which I'm still getting used to saying! 😆) just put a ring on it so we are headed in your direction soon! Just please pray my friend finds a good woman. I think if people were to read 3 verses down in Ephesians 5:25, they would read: Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; This isn't a one-sided love, We love each other in humility.
@alexiscolby9415
@alexiscolby9415 25 күн бұрын
Exactly. But most prefer to cherry-pick and focus on the verses before that. But in context it was about men not exploiting or abusing the authority and power they were given on earth and to actually love their wives as well as women having to submit to their husbands…plenty misconstrue that part and with modern minds misinterpret that to mean for a woman to be a slave to her husband in any way he sees fit. And this type of exploitation and wielding power over women is exactly what men are NOT supposed to do. In the same vein though women need to learn to toe the line - how many hen pecked men have I known or seen by over bearing, domineering wives - it is awful to see either way - by male or female…the balance and harmony that God gives in godly ordained marriages is one of real love and joy and peace and humility and grace and forgiveness…marriages are supposed to work as a supportive team, the women supports her husband by looking after the kids and taking care of the home - whilst the man goes out and earns or makes a living to support his family. If this relationship does not have God at the centre that’s when we see a corruption.

My heart actually hurt upon hearing scarfgirl say she will "abort your babies". Editing her words down to their base reality, this is what I heard her proudly say: "I am too stupid and/or lazy to use birth control as I slut around, and then purposefully choose as my preferred method of birth control, to fix my idiotic mistakes by murdering innocent life." How dead inside she has to be is just astounding and profoundly sad.

He & I never went through a "dating" process with each other. We were friends, fell in love with each other and got married, THEN we were a couple. I had some strict boundaries, and he easily respected and honored them. Including no males to cross the threshold of my home, even if we were (just) friends. In regard to that one woman complaining about men not fulfilling their "role." A traditional, godly man will respect and honor his role and responsibilities, and likewise a woman ought to as well. My dad told me the man that is worthy to marry me will hold me in higher regard than himself, AND LIKEWISE I should hold him in higher regard than myself. My dad was right.

Wouldn’t want an ignorant or evil liberal who’s working hard to destroy our country. I’m an attorney and work part-time, but being a mother of 4 and raising my baby’s is the most important mission in my world m, apart from cherishing and respecting my husband and loving Jesus. Love being an attorney and the financial blessing it brings while working few hours and getting to be with my family the majority of the time. It’s hard balancing it all, but serving my husband and children, and God, that’s the highlight of my life. That’s right! I said it! I LOVE SERVING my husband! I also love how he respects, cherishes and appreciates me. We spend most our time laughing and just enjoying life, being boring together. Hopefully, God will give us more years to continue our partnership, grow old together, drinking our tea at night and watching sports while raising our family.

I’m convinced that it all comes down to trusting god. When you trust god these shallow things don’t matter because you see God as transcending the need to worry about the fearful reality of survival. That would make you think you need the biggest, strongest and most ruthless man to protect you. But obviously not every man is 6 ft 7 350ibs of pure muscle. So what gives…trusting god.

"Sure i wish I was of the lucky few to lock up the giga chad finance bro with 3rd leg that lays down good porn pipe BUT at least I got to SETTLE with the genetically mid, beta bucks from the average no options having, vanilla dick game provider that can give a maybe 'good enough' life and not cheat even if he wanted to nor beat me up. A man leading his household isn’t telling her what she has to do. Leading just means taking responsibility and accountability for your wife and kids that’s what a leader is. It means being the first one to acknowledge there’s a problem and being the first one in taking steps to fix that problem. Submit doesn’t mean she has to do what he says or not have an opinion for herself. It just means that she needs to respect his decisions and choices unless they are unbiblical. I think people get confused with Control over leadership and doing everything I say you have to do over respect. Also a Liberal can get a girl but the conservatives can keep a woman. 🎤

You need to understand one thing: To women, respect is love. To men, love is respect. Women thirst to be treated with respect because it means he loves you, and men thirst to be treated in a loving and gentle way, because that means she respects us. I really hope you don't do this "talk back / don't listen" thing non-stop. It's fine to test someone while dating, but if this is an ongoing habit, you're being destructive. Do you have any clue how men generally internalize this kind of behavior? Over time, we just say, "If you don't respect me by now, then why am I playing this rigged game of yours? Anything you say is just about as important as dogs barking." There's no faster way to shut down a man and ensure that he stops trying to please you. If you're gonna play the "talk back and don't listen" game, you had better follow it up with behavior that shows him respect through love. Otherwise, he'll just tune you out and stop trying to "earn" love or respect from you. Why the hell should a man work to constantly earn a woman's respect if it isn't reciprocated? The expectation that men should do so is an immature and frankly delusional attitude.

It’s actually easier because the “if a guy is under 6ft” girls are typically insufferable in many other ways and the people who don’t care about height are usually not as superficial. It also seems like a lot of girls say they want someone over 6ft until they meet someone who isn’t and end up liking them

Daddy issues: leftism. I’ve been thinking it for a while now. Because taxes are really a way to make daddy(the owners) have to spend more money instead of invest it. So it’s the kids and the wife asking to spend more money that will never be invested again. Which makes it harder for daddy to maintain his wealth which you need to have daddy pay for everything but we still need more and more of his money.

Life is risk, and if you're making contingency plans you're not all in on the relationship. I've seen just as many men say getting married and having kids is too big a risk for them because she will just leave you for another guy take your children away from you and clean you out in the courts. There's nothing wrong with gaining the skills necessary to survive as an adult in the world, but doing so isn't mutually exclusive with finding love and starting a family. It should also be done for its own sake, and not as some kind of plot to make you immune from the harm your spouse might inflict upon you someday. If that's your attitude going in to relationships, do the other person a favor and let them move on to someone who's invested in them. They deserve better.
