I never knew either. Fox News is basically the only outlet who would consider military service important enough to bring up. On a standard liberal show, they wouldn't think it meant anything more than if he had gone to summer camp once.

Based on him screaming " he is a n*****" immediately after that I am assuming he was referring to slavery / Jim Crow / systemic racism. But if he was not I would like to know his implication.

But Jerry was also important being not as "extreme" as Kramer and George. Also Jerry let these guys shine since he know he was not an actor. They were all major reasons for the success and Elaine, Larry and the other writers, guest actors etc etc. You can't put it on 1-2 actors.

I watch Seinfeld every night before bed, and is the reason I keep Netflix. Richards deserves a second chance and a lot of forgiveness. EASILY the best comedic character in TV history.

Yes, him and Jason Alexander (George) were the quintessential characters & elements of _Seinfeld_ . Jerry and Julia-Louise Dreyfus (Elaine) are also very funny people & good actors, but in a "show about nothing", Kramer & George were the over-the-top quirky characters who truly made it "must-see TV" 😊

I saw the real Kenny Kramer doing his bus/fan tour in New York. I was eating at the restaurant they use for the outside shot, and two security guys came in, then the bus pulls up, and he took pictures with fans. He looked pretty wild and it was kinda chaotic : ) I was just there to eat, and he bursts in, then the whole bus and entourage disappears. I'm sure he was a wild guy, like Larry David says : )

Wow, Jesse Watters is actually teary, and I would be too. He clearly thinks the world of Michael, as many others around the world. I wish we'll see him often from now on, in interviews, shows, commercials, everything. He's been through hell in the last 20 years, people that did much less didn't have to wait that long. He deserves all the love.

Larry David, the man behind the creation of hit sitcom 'Seinfeld', made those 4 great actors very wealthy, once 'Seinfeld' went into syndication. They each made a reported $364 million, each! That's way too much money, for any one person to be blessed having. I'd take it! Every penny!

Michael Richards is the best. He was so frikin' hilarious as Kramer. He is not a racist. In an angry moment he miscalculated in trying to squelch a heckler. Like Will Smith, his true self was probably saying " What are you doing? Stop!" But the words were already out, and it was too late. He just made a mistake. He has more that paid for his misstep.

I have truly never seen Michael Richards look happy his entire life until this interview; even in the outtakes and reunions he always seemed too shy or uncomfortable to enjoy himself. Nice to see in his colourful real life arc, he's finally able to experience a lick of joy... something a lot of genius comedians ironically do not.

You can tell Michael Richards is a really sensitive and caring person and it just goes to show that people need to give others the benefit of the doubt because sometimes we judge people too quickly and then they’ll never dare to share their talents again. I can’t stop thinking about how much Michael could have produced in the last 16 years if people hadn’t been so rough on him. What a shame.

Kramer was one of the best physical comics in the last 50 years. He was like Buster Keaton and the Three Stooges rolled up into one man. Sure he has his issues, but we all do. He is still a comic genius.
Definitely in my top 3 favorite comedy films of all time. Highly underrated.
