Jai Guru Dev, Jai Masters. Jai Guru Dev is a traditional Hindu phrase that means Glory to the Great Teacher (the most accurate translation would be glory to the shining remover of darkness), where the great teacher here is generally considered to be the Divine Soul, while we, as human beings, are considered the individuated Soul. Jai Masters means Glory to the Masters, some of whom Singer refers to at times.

I was on a planet. All humans were aware. To live they needed food, clothing, shelter. One weird human asked other humans whether they preferred to live or die. All of them answered, we have no preference. we don't care. either way is fine.

You, know, it really is simple. Maybe after a life of societal conditioning we start to forget what we seemed to know as very young children. Intellectualize everything and forget simplicity of simple being and forget how to have fun and nurture the inner child. To hide from him/ her because we're serious adults and we have all these things we need to do and we want them right now, fast and our happiness depends on it. Michael Singer is a great teacher and I probably cant renounce life, but I'll keep listening when fear and doubt arise and try to keep it simple.
