His father was a Army major who dedicated his life to America and his family. Strahan is truly one of a kind. 92 is the reason I started playing football after his NFL record 22.5 sacks in 2001 he was all over sportscenter and they showed clips of him at practice and his personality is infectious.

I was a fan of Warren Sapp but feel pity for him. Strahan is truly showing class here. Strahan is successful, financially stable, has a family, and continues enjoying a positive image with sports fans and the public in general. That's a big TOUCH DOWN. Strahan's humility here shows that he's matured, gained wisdom, and isn't the cocky young player of a decade ago. What's saddening in this situation is that Mr. Sapp has had a lot of negative issues over the years that the public is aware of, yet, he shows little humility or wisdom. Making a $100,000 bet on the Super Bowl, even it it was for fun, was a dumb move and it only hurt his image more. Yet, it seems that Sapp chooses to relieve his frustration by publicly taunting and disrespecting a player that's trying to do things the right way. Hopefully, now that Sapp has apoloigized, Strahan keeps moving forward. I disliked Strahan in the past, but this clip has made me respect him much more.

Strahan and Sapp have a history of bad blood, even back when both were playing. Strahan publicly dissed Simeon Rice, Sapp's former teammate with the Bucs. Its no secret Sapp and Strahan have never liked one another. I must question Sapp's motive though. Was he trying to irritate Strahan and put him on the defensive? Sapp should know that calling out Strahan, who has the New York media on his side, isn't a wise move.

I grew up a Giants fan, Strahan was a beast of a player. Played the run as well as anyone could play it, was able to rush the passer as well as anyone could hope for and he defended the screen as well as anyone I've ever seen. Sapp pissed off that a 40th pick in the draft had a better career than a 12th pick, pissed off that Strahan played with 1 team his entire career and rode off into the sunset on top. On top of that, Strahan has made more money after his NFL career than he made during his NFL career. There are all the facts, Sapp should concentrate on himself instead of how others are doing...

I'm a birds fan, know that I dont normally speak well of Giants. But Strahan was one of my absolute favorites. His play was great, but I loved his trash talk game too. He and Sapp went back and forth going back to the Season record breaking "sack" of Favre. I dont want to spoil the great lines here, seek the games out for yourselves and just enjoy. Truly. I remember the best was during an interview on the sidlines on (MNF?). Warren did this after that. Proof dude doesnt learn.
