Executives at ABC are not happy with Strahan, claims a source close to the network, after the newly-appointed 'Good Morning America' host gave an interview in which he reignited his feud with former his former 'Live' co-host.

The thing is they threw him in there as a guy to fill in while they tried to get someone else but he made the best of it and became liked very fast. He then in my opinion ended up always outshining her and built a huge very loyal fan base to use as leverage for more money. They never thought he would leave or go look for other jobs so they low balled him with the money offer to stay. He then gets a hell of a deal and she got salty that is it simple as that.

He was very raw when he started LIVE. She helped him develope into a TV personality. She deserved a heads up from him. He wanted a new career and she taught him how to get it. If they don't find a good replacement in a few years ratings might go down, the show might get eventually cancelled, and if the show ends then Kelly Ripa probably goes back to being a nobody.

Excuse me, but Kelly Ripa is not married to Michael Strahan. They are co-workers. Michael's boss is ABC, not Kelly Ripa. Strahan doesn't have to explain to Kelly why he wanted to leave that ridiculously boring show that should have ended when Kathy Lee departed before Kelly was picked as a co-host. Was there more going on than the public was made aware of regarding Kelly and Michael? I don't see the issue. Talk show host leave shows all the time to further their career. I've sat the audience for both Kelly and Ryan and GMA when Michael was there. Let me tell you, the Kelly and Ryan set was TOXIC with TOXIC PAS and bad vibes. GMA was such a nice atmosphere and the hosts actually came around to everyone with the PAs to greet and welcome us unlike the other set. I ended up not going back to the Kelly and Ryan set and have been to GMA several times now. When you know, you know!

With all of that shade Ripa threw their way, it's understandable why both men felt awkward and slighted. She was so nasty and condescending. FYI: I'm not a faithful viewer, and I even sensed Ripa's wrath after watching only a few snippets of the show. To say she has wicked energy is an understatement. I'll add insult to injury by saying she's criminally overrated. Watch the closing segment of Patricia Heaton's interview. I felt Strahan's pain and frustration through the screen. That display was difficult to watch, because I felt embarrassed for Strahan, who struggled to keep his composure and soldier on. Ripa had no respect for Strahan, because he always had a big entourage for no apparent reason, like a cheesy drama queen; however, I can see Strahan being a narcissist with an over-inflated ego. From thence, she made it her business to humiliate him incessantly. To be frank, she was talented in that department, and Strahan was defenseless against her sardonic wit, which she so graciously possesses. ~ Shalom
