Wow! He was very articulate and professional. He replied to Ripa's outright pettiness and selfish comments with reasoned words. In the real world, people come and go all of the time. He showed he wanted to grow and keep trying new things. Lots of people do that in the real world.

I liked the sarcastic comment Strahan made at the end, “You got a great job, you have to keep it.” It truly is mind boggling when people put you down for leaving a good and well paying job for something else. It truly is an outsiders perspective. I’ve had jobs where the pay was great, but the work itself was not fulfilling, it was very tough mentally. I’ve also had a minimum wage job where the work environment was great and I was actually proud of my work. To get criticized on exploring other outlets really is a lack of empathy.

Nop. That is not the way you do it. Having his people tell her (but really blindsiding her by the announcement) in the same day is not the ethical way of doing things. Not telling her he was leaving after four years of working together is very shitty.

He was cracking her back frfr and ABC network executives knew what was up. No way their darling Kelly would fall for a BBC. Their chemistry was awkwardly better than her and Regus in the end...and that was a big no no. Kelly cried so much her first episode without him, I thought Strahan was ran over by a Semi. She def was hopping on that pogo stick

Nothing wrong with him wanting to move on and try different things. Four years is a long time in one job. However, nor telling Kelly first, after four together, is just plain RUDE.

Strahan was good with Kelly Ripa. The problem with him was that he shouldve made the announcement a month before (and told Kelly before the media)!!!

I have not watched the show since Michael left because Kelly acted like a fool. They were co-host and she felt that he owed her an explanation of his future plans. He didn't owe her anything. I think she really was so mad because she liked him and didn't want him to leave. Now that her husband is going to co-host with her my ears will be open to hear how long that last. I think it's a mistake. However, time will tell. It's one thing to go home to each other. It's going to be another thing for Mark to deal with her when she feels like she's his boss since she's been there the longest. They better start looking for a marriage counselor if they don't already have one. I might peak at the show when Mark starts once every 6 months just to see how the chemistry SEEM to be.

I'm like that too!!!. If you got a good job it's more about you than the job I reckon. If you got a good job, you can get another good job. It's better to move on to something else than stationary, cos other people gonna get their turn too.

He didn’t really address the question about Kelly Ripa. He knew he was in a pickle with her when he accepted GMA. He was damned if he told her and damned if he didn’t. He chose not to and I think that was a mistake and she made him realize it the hard way. Live and learn and move on.

Yes. Brags about her sex life constantly. So much that u know it's not true. I don't watch unless she is on vacation

She does do that a lot. I rarely watch them unless I just want to see a particular guest and I've seen her do that at least 4 times.
