Hello Maestro, Talking about bright vowels: I trained my student to sing the clear 'A' in the past 2 months and she finally accessed her harmonics, bringing out a wonderful soprano voice at the age of 60 years old. So I've taught her what I've seen in your videos: breathe down in your back (pull in the abdomen and breathe through the nose) and sing a clear 'A' Nevermind what I've learned in University - it's really a technique that cannot be useful for any serious operatic singer, based on the 'mi, me, ma' and the yawning sound Many thanks

Mr. Trimble, You are a real encyclopedia of bel canto. I've learnd much more by watching your videos and trying things you are teching. And it realy works. Step by step I am trying to forget things I've learnd on music academy in Slovenia (singing trough the straw, rising soft pallet, pushing voice out in the false mask....). Thank you again and God bless you. Please if you have any music of your singing, please share.

I agree. I read Mr Trimble's book at least 3 years ago but didnt really understand. Then i went through all that modern instruction and felt as a result I DIDN'T SOUND LIKE MYSELF. Then i came back to Trimble and it was all clear! Sometimes you have to do it wrong to understand right!

Michael Trimble can i offer you something? make a CD's with your lessons for building the voice and for warming up the voice for singing. it can be a 7/10 cd's pack or somthing like that. If you don't want to deal with the whole thing of preparing the discs for sale - you can sell them on sites like cdbaby.com that give you the option to download mp3 so you only have to record the lessons that you already do in real life with your students. The format should be in track1 - you explain the ex, track2 - singer performs the ex and demonstrates, track3 - only the piano plays the ex for us to perform with it. There are many people who do not have enough money to study with you, but they have the money to buy your CD's pack 100%, so that they can improve until they have enough money to study with you. It is one thing to teach people a theory in your book and videos - which is very important but there is another important addition and it is to teach the old school exercises of the past singers. These exercises for building the voice and warming the voice for singing should be documented by you for generations to come and what I offer in today's world is the only way to bring it to the masses. I will 100% buy any CDs that you will produce to improve the voice technique whether downloadable or not. one can learn a lot from your book and your videos on KZbin but lack the practical element of your method and the exercises themselves. *** So I hope you read this and understand the importance of documenting these exercises for the present and future generations. ***
