Europian nations are not pouring in so much military aid to Ukraine because they don’t want war with Russia, they don’t want escalation. The US is pushing this war further and further, and as this senator was saying “it is clearly their interest, why they are not sending more” - who are you to say what is their interest? The most simple answer is : Europe is not more interested in the war with Russia because they considered Russia as an economic and energy partner and would want to be friends with them than against. While the Americans on the other hand wanted to continue the war because it is in their interest to influence almost all of europe in the doorstep of russia.

If Russia stops fighting the war ends. If Ukraine stops fighting there is no more Ukraine. Supporting Ukraine now in the face of an existential threat is what we should have done with Poland in 1939/1940. Help them defend themselves so the aggressor can’t expand the conflict. Tens of millions of lives could have been saved if the Wehrmacht stalled in Poland
