Wow! I loved the tip about putting your fingers behind the stick to avoid a panic inverted "up" (which will head the plane down in that orientation). Thanks!

Love that you left the "crash" in. Shows that even the best make mistakes.

its cool watching rc videos but even cooler when we have the same name!!!!

Nice to meet you michael. Very cool. What part of the country are you from? Have you noticed that there are several Michael Wargo signature series aircraft out there? You can go up by an aircraft with your own name on it lol. I designed them

I am in Florida, but my family is from Pennsylvania. I wonder if we are related? It almost seems like we would have to be

Thanks, Michael! I found that the biggest challenge to inverted flight was rudder input. I managed to get much better at it when I started "pushing with the rudder stick whatever part of the plane was closest to me". When flying away, to turn to my left, I have to push the tail to the right -with right rudder stick input. When flying towards me, to turn to my right, ,I have to push the nose of the plane to my right with right rudder stick input. Sounds complicated, is acually very simple.

Great video! Are you on high rates?
@MichaelWargo2 жыл бұрын
When slow on 3d planes. Or even slower on a jet. Really depends on the model. Rate choice is based on the the plane's response to elevator at that speed. Looks bad when the plane looks overcorrected.

@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes let’s hope so Cliff. I guess you during UT for RC greatness 👍🏻

@@DadsRCHangar Not sure what that means Chris but I did an inverted pass last time I was up with the Kavalier not quite intentionally but all went well in the end cause I kept my nerve and just pushed the stick forward 😃
@DadsRCHangar2 жыл бұрын
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes I was thinking about inverted flight, you could go inverted then flip a switch that corrects the sticks so you fly as normal but inverted 😎

There is a video “Giant scale 33% 100cc Yak 54 horrible crash” where someone demonstrates what happens when you pull up elevator while low inverted…. Like your idea of putting your thumb below the stick.
@nigelthompson8742 жыл бұрын
Suggestion. “Push up” as an instruction could be avoided. You are either “push down” or pull up”. When inverted and losing altitude “push down “ on the elevator. Keep it simple.

Cose I was inverted ! - couldn't resist, I know it's a bit worn out
@jamesberwick22102 жыл бұрын
That's easy, just remember up is now down and don't hit the runway too hard. I failed that my first time making a low pass, six feet up, and pulled up, spalt! Never made that mistake again.
