Simon's reaction to this is fair-a little sad, too, because he knows it's Michael frigging Winslow-but legend or not, Michael is clearly rusty and nervous. There's a flow and energy that's missing from when he was performing regularly back in the day, and the time constraint doesn't lend itself to throwing out a bunch of sounds, impressive as they are, unless they're in service of a tightly structured routine with comedic punch, which this honestly wasn’t. But hell, man, we all get older and lose a step if we haven't done something in a while; just means we gotta work that much harder. Props to Mr. Winslow for putting himself out there again.
