I appreciate you remembering where we first heard of Mr. 7 😁 I guess the reason why Zoro didn't question Luffy's stretching ability is because during his time as a Pirate Hunter he probably encountered a number of pirates with devil fruit abilities and just concluded that Luffy was also one.

I just watch all of the episodes and I gotta say that WE NEED SEASON 2 FOR THIS!! FOR REAL!! I love how realistic this series is, it has a take different touch from the anime but still didn't lose to the source. I hope there's season 2 soon and I'm willing to wait again just to see it.

The bar is very low for live action anime adaptations, and this has easily been better than 90% of what we've had to endure in the past. I can't wait for your other episode reactions. I love the show's decision to focus on Koby/Garp's storyline. I've heard some complaints but for me, The casting in this show is A+ The show's casting director deserves a 'you nailed it'! award.

14:40 I think this gum gum scene is more close to the manga 24:40 yeah, janggo hypnotized one of his crew to act like kuro after kuro beat morgan's soldiers, and in the end Morgan captured the kuro impostor. And why Morgan have that jaw is because of kuro injured him (it is easter egg if you get it you get it, if not it's there in the show) 28:30 the name is bogart. I think that's how you spell it (Will add more time stamp as I watch your reaction) *if there's any

I honestly think my case is the best way to get into this live adaptation. I've read one piece to about 40 books and watched the first 100-ish episodes of the anime. But that was way back when there were only maybe 300-400 episodes out so i remember only the broad strokes of the story. So i had no moments of "this is how it was supposed to go" or other annoying little nitpicks like "this scene is supposed to be in the daytime" or something irrelevant like that. Really made me enjoy this so much without having the need to constantly compare it to something else.

I absolutely loved this. It was like a combination of Pirates of the Caribbean and One piece. One of my favourite movie franchises OAT and my most favourite anime. Just absolutely amazing❤. And Inaki, Emily and Mackenyu all absolutely NAILED their performance. Inaki especially. Just like G.ODA himself said, Inaki is exactly like the character he wrote in his manga. And the small detail changes in character actions and most importantly, seeing stories we only heard of but never saw in the anime like Luffy getting in the Barrel and Zoro being contacted by Baroque works was a fantastic choice to make. Most definitely the BEST Live action adaptation to date. Now a whole bunch of Normies can enjoy the masterpiece that is One piece 😍.

1st episode and i enjoyed it; also considering this is netflix and one piece has over a 1000 episode their definitely doing short hand so to speak but in a waymthat doesnt take away from the dontext of the story. Now my guess is depending on how many episodes this is per season they might be building up to the alabasta/ baroque works arc as the finale leading to all the meeting ot the og 6 nakama and wraping up with robin officially joining in season 2
