Sometimes it looks like everyone around you is doing well and is rich and is having fun in the meantime you feel poor. Ever wonder why that is? I think some new data on the amount of inherited wealth with the largest wealth transfer in world history, taking place right now can shed some light on that.

Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.

Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.

It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

There is a limit after a certain amount of $$ as to what more it can do for your well being.. how many cars can you drive at one time? That big house gets lonely. How many rooms can you be in at one time? The stupidest people I know are rich. The cheapest cheapskates will be 6 feet under. The worst abusers and criminals have lots of money. IF you beleive in the afterlife and Saint Peter asks you a question and you answer I have more money then anybody that's what I did with my life! Oh oh wrong answer.

Sold my parents house 12 years ago for $1,500,000, it was fully paid off. My dad had passed and my mom needed care so she lived in assisted living and then dementia care the last two years. By the time she passed recently there was almost nothing left. I ended up receiving 30K and that is fine, that was their money. Don't rely on inheritance.

My parents are getting older, and I have one brother. I live with them and help them. I'm lucky in that regard. A part of me wants to sell the house when the time comes and split the payment with my brother, find my own home, start anew but the other part of me, wants to continue living here. Continue caring for my mother's garden, and maybe rent out the basement to travelers? Or not, I have no children, no partner, and I'm in my early thirties. With the way everything is rising....Inheriting the house, and then maintaining it, even if I am blessed, raising my own family in it because it is a wonderful home feels almost like a safer idea for me. The older I get the more the idea of keeping the property in the family if possible feels wiser. Like I know the water bill. I know the electricity. It's all familiar. I know where the flaws are and already what I can fix/ improve. My biggest worry is just how to make enough money to afford keeping it. As much as I NEVER dreamed of relying on this kind of possible inheritance, I also can not deny how against the fear of the unknown, it's comforting. At the same time...I truly wish I didn't feel this way. For I want deny I still wish deeply I could afford my own home. It's such a crazy, crazy time.

Here's an outside of the box thought. Health tourism. There is good quality healthcare to be had in other countries. Take your $1.5M and parents and relocate, live the rest of their days in luxury cause your USD would get you so much more there than here. Just saying. And don't go to fear phrases; there are countries with excellent healthcare at 1/4 the cost of what we're all paying here.

I'm a millennial not doing well (financially), as I say, "poor in pocket, rich in spirit." One has to be very grounded in order to not become discouraged. I can't blame the lucky ones receiving family help/inheritance. Not in the cards for me. Thus, I must cultivate an awareness of finding value in other aspects of life- my good health, my job I actually enjoy, the beautiful community I reside in... Privileged notions like retirement, home ownership, investments, etc. All this is fantasy for me. I'm not intending to garner sympathy or apathy, just an honest reckoning of my position. Perhaps I'll find a way someday. Stand Sure friends.

The rents are insane here now keeping everyone poor. There are actually hundreds of videos on youtube now of immigrants who came to canada, warning other people NOT to move here... that canada sold them a lie and now they are trapped here penniless. The crappy jobs and rents have bled them dry and they are literally trapped here in poverty and are miserable.

Depending on how wealthy the parents are. If they're very wealthy, their children will inherit a lot. If the parents just own a house, that is if the parents were mere Homer-Simpson-like suburbanites from the '80s, the children can expect the hospital and LTC facility to get the money before the children can get at it. So, if you've got children and they're still trying to decide what to do for a living, tell them to get into the health care business.

We might get a 3% raise if lucky but the government and globalist bankers counterfeit the dollar and add 6% to circulation which results in us getting 3% poorer. They evidently do not watch your videos because they would have known that their property tax rate is NOT going to be the old tax rate when the house was worth 45% less last year. They overpaid for the house and failed to realize their new, current prop taxes are going to be much higher due to the increased appraisal value. More people should watch Michael to learn and be smarter about their financial issues imo.

The biggest myth of my lifetime is "Americans are rich." No, we're not. America is a country with a small number of very rich people, but Americans in general are impoverished. 56% of Americans say they can't cover a $1000 emergency in cash. If $1000 is a lot of money to you, you're poor. If the survey upped that amount to $5000, I'll bet 80% of Americans would say they couldn't cover the emergency. No, I don't want to hear lectures about how we fritter away money on Netflix subscriptions and avocado toast. That's a bunch of crap. The real issue is that working hard just doesn't pay. I know a LOT of people who work VERY hard, are VERY frugal, and are STILL broke. This is why we need strong labor unions. I was a unionized worker (as a teacher), and studies show that teachers in strong union states earn 22% more than teachers in weak union states.

You have to adapt to the new paradigm. Learn to be frugal (but not cheap). Insist on value for your money. Invest carefully. Make what you own last longer by taking meticulous care of it. Buy assets and not liabilities. Shop farmer's markets, thrift stores, pawn shops, yard & garage sales, Craig's list, Facebook market place, ebay, and where ever you can get a good deal. If you want to win against inflation you will have to fight. More than ever we have to be on our game. Good luck out there.

The thing about the military is that it is a giant leech. It does not actually generate wealth...it destroys the wealth of others while draining the bank account of it's host nation. It's why the Founding Fathers were against having standing armies. Theoretically the military protects the nation and protects trade routes. In reality? It ended up bankrupting the USA.

Destroying the middle class is part of the devil's plan. Poor people are reliant on handouts/programs and can be controlled by cutting them off from their freebies. Rich people largely value money over all else and spent their life focusing on money, so they can be controlled through cutting off their ability to spend their wealth. It is the middle class that doesn't rely on handouts and also isn't completely driven by money. Only the middle class would offer resistance against the mark of the beast and the beast financial system.

I live in the mid-west in a 2 room house. I'm sure the electric rates have gone up somewhat in the 10 years I've been here but I pay about $25.00 a month now. Switching to LED light bulbs helped. My new 40 in. LED TV uses less electricity than my older 32 in cold cathode ray tube (backlight) TV. And, a newer used fridge seems to be more economical as well than the one it replaced. Having gas appliances takes the load off electric as well.

Great video as usual Michael. I was blessed in life because I had parents who were both very young when the Great Depression hit so I and my siblings had the benefit of being raised by parents who didn't have it easy (I said I was blessed, not saying my parents were with having to grow up in the depression and then fight in a foreign war - we totally owe them) so subsequently, we got the benefit of their experiences growing up without much. Both were seven when it hit, and they were raised out of necessity to be frugal. They had five kids and we lived VERY modestly in a three bedroom, one bathroom house - but we never felt like we were poor (even though by today's standards we'd be able to get assistance - something my Father would NEVER, EVER, EVER do - I remember back in the late seventies my sister wanted to go and get some "free government cheese" - ONE block of it - and my Dad went NUTS at just the thought of taking charity - LOL). Seven people in a small house and all five of us kids learned - mostly from observing and not so much verbally - how to respect the value of a dollar. All of us remaining siblings are very much comfortable. The key word is "comfortable", although I know we have more than the average person our age in retirement and savings. I never aspired to have a greatest car or fanciest home, but I wanted security and not debt and money in the bank and investments. Admittedly, I do have a nice life with a truck, car and motorcycle and nice home in the suburbs, but it wasn't always like that, at ALL. At 66, I SHOULD be comfortable after 48 years of working, like most people my age. You do what you have to do. So much of what people believe is "success" are materialistic things, and they're not. I am SO glad I'm not a person just starting out at this point in the nation's history because we are not what we were and we will never be again. I seriously think you'll see UBI in the next ten to fifteen years (I already know several people in their twenties and even thirties who think having to work for a living is unconscionable) and actually are stupid enough (despite college degrees) that just making the rich "pay their fair share" will cure all the ills in America. LOL. Bottom line is, live within your means and try to do the best you can with this country the way it is now. We pay more on the interest on the debt than we do on our own defense. That alone should show people, even younger and less experienced and perhaps more impressionable ones, where we are now. Unreal.
