This video inspired me to crack out my old Studiomaster Logic Twelve analog desk and put it through its paces with OSM v1.3! Some VERY interesting results for sure!! For example HF shelves that affected pretty much the whole audible spectrum to some degree of magnitude! Also loss of c. 1-2dB at both ends of the HF, MD, LF potentiometer extremes. Fascinating though!!

Hey! A very good demonstration of how semi-parametric equalizers work on analog consoles still widely used at events. We ask you to analyze 10, 15 and 31 band graphic equalizers and also audio managers (DBX P2, DBX VENU360, DBX 4800, BEHRINGER DCX2496) widely used in events and shows. Thanks.

I Google and couldn't find a thing about gersen shelf filters, Michael Gersen, unless the transcripts misspelled gersen? What's the procedure to phase and time align a 3way system? Horn, mid, sub drivers? BTW I nailed it tuning my small power pack old PA the other day. It's just my 2way I have set up in the living room. The bass, impact, tuning, came out incredible. Added a tilt eq centered at 520hz due to the reflective room and the boxes in my face. It sounds amazing!! Knocked 3 candles to the floor all the way upstairs and nosey Lucy 2 townhouses down complaining at my door. Your paid class paid off!!! Thank you! I just need the procedures on how to tune a 3way system.
