To the person who reported this video to KZbin for not having Closed Captioning, please look more closely, they have been auto generated and you can turn them on or off yourself!

There was no need to do that. The person who reported must be dumb😑.Anyways this technique was very useful for me

Yes it‘s True; you don’t need any music in your videos. It’s a pleasure to listen to you and when you say anything, it’s also magic and meditative to watch you at work. Ciao

This is the only channel I've been sharing for years now with people, whenever I am making a point that certain artists can paint photorealistic art. I know you may never read this comment but you're truly gifted MJS ❤ One of your early subscribers

There you are! Always a delight to actually SEE you again, the face and frame behind the long piano fingers. I hafta rewatch ye older videos to rerun your humor side... you've become so serious and business-like as your hair greys. Me I'm more daffy 😂 with my silvered look I'm told. Aye, that's exactly how water looks, the swirlies and how deftly the comber brush creates them! I'm entranced to attempt the same! I like this whole painting... I absorb each drop of color and stroke as if tasting each molecule of tea. Each video I watch is caffeine, sending me to me blank canvas pile with vigor. I'll NEVER regret the moment I metcha SirMikey. Your character and singing paintings mesh refreshing me own brushings. Gratitude my best friend, gratitude. 🤠

I love watching you add so many details in your work! I’m currently doing a painting will have trees in the background, and some small trees in the foreground, so I will attempt to scale up my detail on the trees in the foreground, to give depth to my painting. It’s always a learning experience when you paint water as well. I have ye to really tackle water on the same level you achieve.

Just got through painting a creek water scene very similar and started off with a totally opaque reflection area just like this and it did not look real, as I have studying creek water of late and found that even the brightest reflections still have a measure of transparency to them.

Hello, good afternoon, it is impressive to see how you paint, I have already bought some brushes from you and they are going very well, in fact I have to buy some brushes from you again. I would like you to make a video of how you mix your paints so that the colors come out so bright and attractive. I make all kinds of mixtures of yellows with blues, etc. with liquin linseed oil solvents and the colors come out very transparent and I see how you make the foliage with those colors and how they slide so well on your brushes. Could you show us how you use these tricks. Thank you so much

Michael first time viewer I have been painting for about 10 years have watched hundreds and hundreds of hours of a variety of artists such as yourself, I have done some pretty nice pieces and a whole lot of throw away pieces (mostly the latter version) Two questions if I may, first one, what medium are you using?, second question do you have lessons for sale on dvd's? Absolutely love your work and demeanor in your voice, please advise me on my questions, thank you...I liked and subscribed...
