I make twitching jigs, but I've never seen a twitching jig like this before!? By far one of the coolest and most interesting jigs I've ever seen! I'm definitely going to make this with my slap on it. Thank you for the ideas sir keep it up you do a great job!

try tying a very small float to end of lure tai so it floats when lure is on bottom of water, helps to keep it moving and attracting fish...

Before I do try and make this jig, would you happen to know if they would work for salmon? Particularly coho salmon?
@MichaelJensensAngling
@MichaelJensensAngling 3 жыл бұрын
Sorry buddy, I haven't tried this jig for salmon, and we don't have coho in my neck of the woods. I sure works for all kinds of trout, including large silvery sea run browns, so I am pretty confident, that it will work great for cohos as well. Give it a try, and let me know how it pans out. Cheers, Michael :0)

Another awesome Jensen jig! :o) Great music too. It sounded very "liquid", Piscataquis was similar to piscator or fisherman, so I googled the piece and artist. That Swede must have spent time in Maine US. Amazing choice of music, you and Ulla are true artists! That's why I love your content, you touch all the bases. Thanks for the total "experience" ;o) Oh yeah, the jig - I think I have some zonks in white with blue and black bars so I'll try them. Some years we have a big "hatch" of shad in Oneida L and blue is a good color for the little fish. Cheers :o)

Thanks a lot Joe. I really like the vibe in that piece of music. It's is a true Fisherman's Blues. There's a lot of super talented Scandinavian guitar players - and I spend a good amount of time picking the tracks, that balance the footage best IMO. Taking bout color: An upcoming video on my channel goes in depth with that subject: dealing with the interesting fact, that a lot of colors actually only are visible near the surface. Had a crazy day on the water earlier this week. Check out my blog for some grip-and-grin pictures including large pike: michaeljensens.com/angling/go-big-or-go-home-0/ Keep save my friend :0)

@@joeduca8582 I don't have notifications from the blog, but might consider having my tech support (that's my eldest son) look into that. Until then - drop by every friday. At the moment I write a blog once a week. Usually friday... together with a KZbin film release. Cheers Michael :0)

@@MichaelJensensAngling thanks for the info. I spent about an hour reading it yesterday, awesome stuff and such a variety of goodness :o), so I had clicked on sparkle wooly dub. The next thing I knew I woke up to great guitar playing and a streamer being tied. I was so relaxed I must have fallen asleep and your dubbing playlist was on auto play. lol. So I smiled, said cool, and saved it to my playlist! That peacock dub looks great. I'll put Friday on my calendar and get into a habit of checking the blog when you post a video. Thanks Michael.

Hi Christian. Yeah the Woolly bugger concept works great on a jig hook. I tie several versions, and have great succes with those. This video on my channel is a good starting point. Check it out. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bainlol8jtJnjK8 Cheers, Michael :0)

Hi Jimmie, nope, I don't have crappie around here. But we have perch, and they will eat some of the same jigs. I guess this one, will get you some of the smalle beauties: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWHdc6uDaZiMiM0 I guess most of the Dog Nobbler and Mini Jigs will work great as well. Take care, Michael :0)
