I think it's the most anti-intuitive function I've ever seen in a piece of SW. Well done!

I have to say, this very function is really useful!!

can you change the axis of the bend curve so my tools dont always have to be horizontally or vetically positioned? like you can change the gizmo by holding alt. *EDIT* : for those looking for the same thing: i dont know whether this works all the time but it sometimes does for me: before you chose something like deform in the gizmo options, get your gizmo into the axis you want the "deform box" to be and then deform it. this aligns the dots of the deform box to your initial gizmo axis.

One of my favorite deformers! Simply game changer

nice video ! nice information but a bit fast.Reallly helpful for my work. Pro tip: Play this video with speed x2 and try to follow it!
@MichaelPavlovich6 жыл бұрын
Glad you found it helpful! For the pro tip, you're right, I only listen to tutorials at 2x speed (even my own!). If it's a little fast for you, try slowing the speed down in the youtube preferences (or shift + < )

Michael - how did you go from moving a dot to scaling a dot?

Of course Zbrushcore doesn’t get this feature

THIS is really weird. Even compare with Blender. I was sure in Zbrush it was much better, but no.

What I seriously hate about ZBrush is that it has all these really neat functions that they change every ten seconds and BUGGER ALL explanation on how to use them. They write very little down in explanation. Their interface is about as intuitive as cuniform. And every bit of advice is in the form of a video by some genius that knows all the shortcuts by heart and will mention about one in five times when he (it's almost invariably a he) uses them. And not one of these videos is presented by someone who knows how to communicate, let alone *teach.* I like my instructions written down in clear language, preferably by someone who is an expert at writing technical manuals. This kind of thing is of very little use to someone who has problems with remembering shortcuts. The odd thing is that I have virtually no problem with 3dCoat, which develops new functions almost as quickly but is reassuringly menu driven.
