It is very clear under a false layer of dirt and dried mud that the frame and parts are intact. They just shredded the tires to make it look more real. These restauration videos are all bullshit.

A mate of mine's brother had one of these he was in the Merchant Navy. This was in the early 60's .Lovely looking bike, split single .The only one I can ever remember seeing back then !

Sorry to say that the bikes you had have nothing to do with this one. The bikes you had were 2 stroke and this one a OHC 4 stroke produced in India. The 300 CL is a very recent bike conceived under the concept of " rétro bike ".

@@gringoloco5989 My bike, As you put it belonged to my mates brother I never saw it running as the chap that owned it was in the Navy . In truth as I was writing I did realize that the bike of which I remember was a 2 stroke and the running gear was almost if not in fact the same .I assumed that this was a later model . If this is as you say a recent creation I must say that It is by far the best ' retro ' bike I have ever seen. A real beauty !

@@kafkastrial8650 In fact the JAWA Moto was bought in 2018 by Mahindra, the Indian automotive group. They launched a new product line having all the same engine architecture, single cylinder DOHC in 300 cc. But taking a look on the website I have seen they increase to 350 cc. The idea to re recreate a post vintage bike is not bad in terms of marketing when you see the sales of the Royal-Enfield Bullet in 350 and 500 cc and the arrival of the flagship Interceptor 750 cc twin. The problem is that these engines even updated are based on 50 to 70 years old engine design. JAWA resurrected the brand with idea to create a very modern engine with a very retro appearance with strong ties to older models. But the brand JAWA himself is very old and was founded in Prag in 1929 by Frantisek Janacek absorbing the motorcycles division of the German WANDERER. But it's true JAWA with CZ were certainly the most reliable 2 stroke bikes before arrival of the Japanese and construction is heavy duty grade.

Eric.... légère erreur et tromperie ! La moto est une 300 CL 4 temps actuellement au programme de vente Jawa et fabriquée en Inde en concept " rétro bike ". Ils ont donc pris und moto neuve ou récente, remplacé la selle et le réservoir par des vieilles mmm..des et saupoudré de poussière et de boue. Après, c'est passez muscade et ils se foutent de nous ! Désolé de rafraîchir votre enthousiasme
