Club was my first Mac shadow and still one of my favorites, I'm on my second pan. Lol for some reason I never picked up Sable but after seeing it swatched its next on my list. I still love my Mac shadows because they make so many great neutral colors without glitter.

Excellent video..thank you. You hit it on the head when you said that these are the unique colors of MAC. Drugstore makeup has come a LONG way and while MAC has one of the best quality formulas of shadows, there are no longer the end-all be-all of eye shadow. Awesome...let us know when the blog sale is!!

Great vid, I kind of feel the same way about MAC as you do. For awhile I was ob-sessed, but I have branched out into other brands now too. I still love MAC, but its not the end all be all of makeup for me anymore.

check out the ultra brand eyeshadows sometime. i've always been surprised that they don't get love on YT! they are always on some sort of BOGO sale and they have some gorgeous colors! very comparable in quality to MAC. "bone" is also a great dupe for brule. other colors you should take a look at are plum smoke, organza, mystique, and twilight which would probably all be up your alley (taupe/purple shades) and they easily pop out of their compacts if you want to stick them in a z palette :)

This was so helpful, I love these type of videos. I have MAC's Club & the WnW Comfort Zone palette & while both look exactly alike in the pan & swatched I've tried both (one on each eye w/ primer) & on me they are definitely, unfortunately different. The WnW pulls red & looks awful, Club is much better. It may be different for you & others of course but just thought I'd share my experience. Looking forward to your Battle of champagne shadows.
