A far cry from Malaysian chicken rice, the soy bean paste sauce is out of place and doesnt compliment the chicken. Skin texture is also way off, no smooth silky skin like the ones in malaysia/singapore as they do not put any importance in achieving that type of texture. The chicken can be way dry, depending on which part you get.

Tried this when. We went to Bangkok last month. We dont like it. Chicken very dry without the dridsleof sesame oil n soy sauce. Order half chicken but didn't finish cos its not nice. Singapore and Malaysia still the best for chicken rice. How it mansge to get a Michelin star is beyond me.

I’ve been there many times when I visit BKK and I love it. It definitely deserves a Michelin star. Yes, Thai chicken rice is dryer than Singapore’s cuz it’s a different style. I think the problem is in ur taste buds not the restaurant

@@gmublproblem with the tastebuds you say? You cant accept personal preference? Dry is dry, no 2 ways about that. Thai chicken rice and their food in general is always on the dry side because they do not put importance on moistness and juiciness. Have been staying in Chiang Rai for over 10 years, I know. Nothing wrong with my tastebuds.
