Done a couple of rides on the PP3 (Ducati 999) now and can't say anything but I love it! I've ridden the Michelin PP's since they started coming out a number of years ago and the PP3 is, for me, clearly the best so far. Been running the front right out to the edge and zero drama (same as with the older versions, but this feels even better). This bike was equipped with Pirelli Diablo Corsa when I bought it and they never felt anything near as good as the PP3's.

Thanks, had a look at his video, it's very long and took me a while to find the time to watch it. From his video, it does indeed look like I need to tune the rebound. Funnily enough, all my bikes have rounded the tread off, so it looks like it's a mistake I've been making for a while. Thanks for the tip.

I think that roll up is dude to suspension settings. Look into it, something about dampening or rebound, I can't remember specifics but I've seen videos addressing this.

Rebound too fast or just "wrong" riding technique. Or just so many varying riding conditions that you cannot tell a shit based on tire wear. I also had the same wear, worn in leading edges, but I felt that my bike became worse to ride if I slowed the rebound, as suggested based on that kind of tire wear.

G'day, nice to see another Aussie up here. Be a bit wary with that read of the wear pattern, don't worry too much about it. The Yanks and the racers have worked out this whole system of reading the damping from the face of the tyre, and it works pretty well on the track, but it can be quite misleading for road only work, and for people who are not pushing quite as hard. Also, never ridden a PP3 but I had Pures and other things, M5s, that have that similar type of tread pattern, and they all do-

part 2, hehe... they all seem to roll the edge of tread blocks like that. It's not really a problem in road and sports use, don't read too much into it. If you wind off a lot of rebound, you'll make a bike that can get unstable at high speed, or over undulations. High and low speed damping adjustment would be good here, but how much money do we have?

There's nothing new I can really say about them... I probably have 1,200 or 1,300km on them now. Apart from an early indication of a lip forming on the first big run, the tyre looks the same today as it did in this video. I don't hate them, in fact for the touring I do mixed with really tight back roads I'm starting to like them. But I'm not really about to recommend these tyres to my friends yet. If you are concerned, I would say get the PP2CT, because they are known and are very good.

Do a video when you have to change tires out about the range you get out of it.

Not sure if I should save my $50 and go 2 or stay with the 3. They come in Next week so I have a week to make up my mind

Oh really..? do share with me what it is then. Perhaps Michelin have a faulty mold, since it clearly has Pilot Power 3 logo on the sidewall.

these tyres are great for the road ONLY! Not for track use
