If you're buying PS4s, remember to buy the OE tyres. BMW worked really hard with Michalin and the compounds are totally different. The centre block uses the same compound as the Cup 2.

I ran 4S tyres on the Astra for 30000 miles on the front. The inner shoulders cracked and started to expose the cord, so i had to change early with 3mm tread left on 85% of the tyre. No track use. No weird camber set up. Tyres lasted well, but the shoulder issues reduced the tyre life by about 7000 miles. New tyre cost- £159 per tyre fitted & balanced. 235/35/19. If they just sort the shoulder issues out, they will be the perfect tyre. 👌

Have you considered the Continental SportContact 7. Reading a lot of reviews and they seem to be winning a lot of tests and getting rave reviews. Going to go for a full set anyway once i'm ready.

Have all four on my scirocco, transformed the handling almost as though I had added something in terms of geo or suspension set up

I run these on my c43 and they are both great in the wet and dry. By far my favourite tyre.

i run the cup2s on my m4cs,great tyre in the dry but i will need to change them for the winter. On wet cold days they can be treacherous even when your not on the power !

I'm running the same PS4S, great tyres and they are confidence inspiring, especially when you really lean on them in corners and pull out the other side of the corner. Very forgiving and fun to drive on, although I'm also considering a full set of Cup 2's to explore those extra gains in handling. I know they are not great in the wet and I'm happy with that as I'll only really use them in the dry. I will be keeping an eye out when you change yours

Recently replaces my PSS with PS4S, I’m not sure if it’s because they are still less than 1k miles old, but they just don’t seem as grippy so far. I feel them almost rolling on the tread, going soft almost, when pushed hard. In saying that, I’m comparing to PSS so they are still Damn good 😂

I’ve gone from cup 2’s on my m4 cs. To ps4s on my csl and I’m getting that a lot continental tyres was the best on my m3

Hi Jon, I have a A45 amg 2016 facelift, AWD, i have 4 ps4s's what is the rule on rotating them? diagonally or just front to back? and after rotating is anything special required like wheel alignment although I just had one 2 months back

Great tyres Jon but you should have a look at the new Continental Contact sport 7. They have claimed the top spot on tyre reviews, I've opted for them on the front of my Stinger & expecting great things.

Had these from factory on a new focus st last year. Road noise was unbearable on anything other than perfect tarmac. Partly down to the shoddy ford build quality I suspect too. Gripped well though but didn't like them in the wet with a FWD car pushing 330bhp. They span and squirmed quite a lot.

I intend to put 4S's on a new Golf R, but have reservations... I don't suppose the the BMW OE ones would be available in my country, and, the PS S5 is actually their new product coming up, presumed to be based on those OE's. PS4S's are old by industry standards, and expensive surely, and I am not sure its a wise investment decision at this point.

Just bought the Pilot Sports 5s. Amazing tyre but the rim protection is shocking compared to the 4s. Not happy.

@@ajitmann5011 depends what sort of driving you do, dynamically 4s is better but 5 last a much longer time so if you just want a good all rounder with some b road thrashing I’d go 5. Checkout Goodyear f1 ass 6 much better dynamically, cheaper just doesn’t have same comfort and sidewall is fugly.

2nd
